This year was our fifth visit (I think!). We love the privacy of the villa, the countryside location  - and being just a 5 mins drive to the town and the coast is ideal.

<p>The property is in a good location and the pool is very clean and well maintained...but...in the kitchen the fridge freezer was noticeably rusting and the cutlery (yep, knives,forks and spoons) were showing signs of rust - a few quid on cheap stainless steel replacements is badly needed.&amp;nbsp The cleaning was below what you would expect, the kids clothes had to go in the wash after being in contact with the floor under the beds - just a sea of dust and debris. Oh and to get anything clean in the washing machine requires generally two washes. The satellite TV at first showed signs of hope for the kids until we saw that there was no lead going into the back of the receiver and a rusty shell of a dish on the roof. All in all you can get away with it if just using it as a base to explore the island but they desperately need to spend some money on it. Wont be back again.</p>

Whilst this is advertised as a beautiful house, a better description would be rustic. The outside space and pool are absolutely lovely, but there are some shortcomings in the house. The bedrooms are tiny with little or no storage, the bathrooms are severely lacking in storage space and finishes such as tiling. The outside steps to the upstairs area would be an issue in wet weather and the covered areas are not water proof. Having said that, we had a lovely relaxing time at the villa, with fabulous views and amazing peace and quiet.

July 2010: Villa Minyo is a nice, basic house, with a large garden and swimming-pool in the country-side. Very private, hard to find with the received directions (tip: At Son Servera follow direction Cala Millor At the roundabout just ouside the town, follow direction Port Verd (Carretera de Comellar Fondo). After about 1,5 km you pass a up-going round on the left-hand-side. Its the next driveway on your right (cant see the house from the road).
Vieuws are great. Location is near enough to town and supermarkets. Car is useful, also because of distance from Palma Airport. We might come back here. Hope the poollights are working next time...

Charming little villa,plenty of space for a family of four,good sized pool which had plenty of use by the kids,well equiped kitchen,great location cala bona only 20 minute walk away although i would recommend a hire car,ample garden for a game of football,overall we all enjoyed our stay at the minyo

Basic no frills property which would benefit from a bit of TLC. Pool was very good size. Mariona the owner was very attentive and responded very quickly when we needed anything. WOULD BENEFIT HUGELY FROM  PARTIAL AIR CON INSTALLATION EVEN IF ONLY on THE UPPER FLOOR. Also a sign to identify the property more easily on arrival would be good. Location very good with easy access up and down the coast.

We have just spent 11 days at Villa Minyo and had a great time, the children really enjoyed the big well maintained swimming pool. The villa was very clean and well kept. Mariona and her sister were most helpful and nothing was to much trouble. I agree with the earlier reviews- the pictures on the website just dont do this villa justice. 
We enjoyed it so much we are just going to book it again for next year!!!!!

Located in a prime area of Calis with all amenities close by. Local well stocked shop with very friendly staff 2 minute walk! Close to many good restaurants.  Dolmus buses to Fethiye and other resorts run every few minutes from the end of the road and the water taxi over the bay to Fethiye left every 1/2 hour from the end of Calis beach.
The views from all windows of the apartment were of the sea, mountains and swimming pool. Calis beach 2 minutes walk! Lovely large balcony with table and chairs adequate for relaxing and enjoying a meal and the nice view.
Welcome pack was supplied as requested and there on our arrival. Good sized apartment for 2 of us. Air con  in bedroom only so if the bed settees were used in the lounge to sleep more people they would be very hot!
Supplied everything we needed even hairdryer and iron. No mid stay clean which we expected after the 1st week but all cleaning equipment supplied including a washing machine to wash towels. 
Automated lighting in the stairwell was a bit haphazzard and slightly dangerous at times.
Would definately rebook through villarenters all emails were answered by Julien  on behalf of the owner really quickly, and he made us feel very welcome on arrival. All in all a lovely holiday.

This was a really nice villa very clean and the pool was great.  The views from the villa are fantastic and we would recommend this villa to anyone.  The property is only a short distance from the local supermarket in Son Servera.  Cala Millor, Cala Bona, Sa Coma and S'illot are all within 10 minutes drive which have good restaurants and beaches. We would recommend hiring a car.

from it all holiday with everything you need only
a short drive away.If it's good views you are looking for it doesn't get any better than Villa Minyo.The villa is nicely decorated &amp; clean.
We would recommend it to anyone,give it a go!
