Unfortunately, we weren't happy with the cleanliness of the house. Light bulbs were burned out.The floors had obvious debris all along the baseboards and around the beds.  This might be some of reason for the constant ants, which we went out and bought ant traps and Raid for, but they were always there. We even moved a mirror to the garage because there were so many ants behind it. All of the counters were cleaned, beds neat and plenty of clean towels. It was the dirtiness of the floors and ants that made the stay undesirable. We have stayed in this development before and really enjoy the location! 
Maybe it is how fast families are in and out that there isn't enough time for a proper cleaning but we didn't have this issue with the last house we stayed at and for the cost I expect more. I will look for another rental company next time we visit as we like the development overall.

A beautiful well maintained property in a well managed gated community with great facilities. I only wish we had had a bit more time to enjoy them. Theres a good choice of restaurants and shops nearby, and the drive to all the parks was straightforward. 
We felt the pool could have been a little warmer, although it didnt put the children off spending hours in it.

The house was great and suited us well, clean and everything neat. - we had a small problem in the beginning in getting hold of the caretaker but when we reach him he could enlight us regardin our questions.

There was only two things that was not what we expected. 
Heating of the pool - we found out from the caretaker that it was thermalexchange heating and it was all the time cold - the heat outside was low so the was only one afternoon that we could use it.  We had thougt it would be nice when we were making dinner that the children could be in the pool - and as I said it was only once and that day it was cold to get in and you had to very determin to get in.
Cutlery - as we said in our request we cook a lot at home. what was in where ok, but there was much missing in cooking utilities but we managed.  
We liked the stay and the house was great in a good and quiet surroundings that suited us very well with our children.  We thank you for the usage.

We had a great holiday, our stay in Emerald Gem far exceeded our expectations. The house could not be in a better location 10 minutes from Disney and less than a mile from shops and restaurants where every taste was catered for. the House is furnished with all you need nothing has been overlooked. My children had a fantastic time enjoying the pool and games room. Well done to the owners the aptley named Emerald Gem it is indeed a Gem of a property. I have recommended to all our friends and family. Definitely worth another visit.

We searched the net  for months to find the perfect  villa and found it here! Awesome villa!! ! The Villas location couldnt be better! It was ( as stated) with-in 2 miles from Disney and only a short drive ( 20 mins) to Universal!
Only problem was that the kids(10 and 12) loved the pool and hot tub that much they wanted to rush back from the parks to Jump in!!!
The Villa was very clean with every need catered for. We didnt use the games room( Brilliant!) simply because we didnt have the time!!
The Hot tub heats up really quickly and the coloured lights in the pool are very relaxing ( and romantic! ). Only thing was we felt the space was wasted on us ( Family of  four) We only needed three bedrooms!
Only one very tiny complaint .There was a notice asking for the b.b.q to be cleaned after use. We were a bit suprised because it was in a terrible state when we opened it up and clearly had not been used ( or cleaned) for some months!!

After walking around the parks ( for hours) in the Searing heat  The Emerald Gem was a welcome relief to come back to and really felt like home!
If you book this villa we hope you enjoy it as much as we have! We will be looking to booking it again if we decide to re- visit Orlando again in the future!

We stayed at the Emerald Gem from 03/20-03/27.  The house was clean and well furnished.  We would definately stay here again.

We had a great stay here. The children loved the games room and the pool. The location is wonderful, very quiet and attractive. We will be back as soon as possible, can`t wait. Thank you for a great stay in emerald gem. Tim, emma, and family godalming uk

Hi Dave and Ellen, Have just spent 3 wonderful weeks at your villa. We all enjoyed our holiday and the villa was so comfortable, it was great to relax and have our own pool. Will recommend it to family and friends. On prevoius holidays to Floridawe have always stayed in hotels, the villa was so different. Now my son wants us to buy one.
