The villa is beautiful and very well equipped.  The views are spectacular of the village below, the sea and the mountains (breathtaking).  I would recommend a 4x4 mainly just for the 1/2 mile track to the villa but it also gives you additional elevated views for driving around the island.  We are a family with with 2 teenage daughters and they loved it too.  The villa is excellent for just chilling out sitting my the pool reading or a good base for traveling around the Chania region and Rethymon.  We traveled over the mountains to the south and far west of the island and found beautiful sandy beaches.  There are also lovely beaches in Kalives and along the main highway towards and Rethymon.  A well recommended Villa that we will definitely be going to back.  The pool is cleaned twice a week and thank you to Steve for his help and advice for places to see.   Thank you once again.

Nice property with great views out to the sea.Nice pool .Very helpful manager Steve and his wife Lyn.Only snag is the long track to get to the villa.However that wouldnt stop me booking again.Maybe next time a small 4x4 car would be better.

We have just returned from a most enjoyable week’s holiday in Villa Amygdalia.  The villa is in a secluded location and for this reason a car is essential.  The villa is particularly suitable for a relaxing stay and is well situated for sightseeing in the Hania region.  This villa is very comfortable, spacious and well equipped.  It enjoys terrific views both of Souda Bay and of the Lefka Ori mountains.

Very good apartment, spacious, confortable, with good furniture and clean. Only set-back pool not yet usable and noisy elevator.

Villa was spacious, clean, comfortable &amp; well equiped. Location was more remote than expected -our hire car struggled with the track, a 4x4 would be more suitable.Views were fantastic from the property. Unfortunately the pool was somewhat overshadowed by a large tree, which kept it in shadow in the afternoons and kept the water rather too cool for the children to enjoy. We were very well looked after during our stay by Sue &amp; Brian, the property management team, who were especially helpful when the water supply briefly failed and gave us lots of advice &amp; information about the area, places to visit etc.

a very unsafe property, electricty unfinished, lack of light bulbs, electricty tripped out on numberous occaisions,dirty,roof leaks in top floor bedroom, no dishwasher, pool was green, garden area was a mess decking rotten, outside stair need replacing. but we did receive a refund for the poor condition just not enough.
