Our problem was noise.
Constant work being carried out on the refurbishment of one of the apartments spoilt ou holiday.
We had to escape to the beach to get away form the scream of saws and tile cutters.
Strimmers at 7.00am from the adjacent cementry gave us an unwelcome alarm call. I hasten to add the proximitry of the cementry did not impede our stay, just the regular din of garden care.
Good apartment, lovely pool, but having travelled a long way for a relaxing holiday,no we will not be returning.

We have been in this apartment 2 years ago. The service then was much better. We arrived on thursday night Kettle not working reported to Mr.Green on friday who did not do anything about it until I asked for a new kettle which arrived on monday evening at the same time we have mentioned the fridge wasnt cold enought to keep the drinks and food safe without going off We have to use our knees to keep the sealed on properley otherwise even the ice starts melting. Our apartment was only cleaned ones during our stay 14days.

Property needs updating  the lounge gets very hot and the Ac is only the bedroom. The sheets needs to be changed regular instead once in two weeks, which not accepatable. There is a sugar ants issue which needs to be dealt with. Overall the the Mystic Ridge resort is beautiful and the restaurant is lovely with friendly staff.

Overall, you get what you pay for. The rates are cheap, the apartment is adaquete. 
The lounge and dining area was nice, a shame that there wasnt air con in this room though as it could get very hot if you didnt pull the outside blinds down.
The kitchen had a rather unpleasant smell, and the tap was loose and difficult to use (didnt want to drink from it). The kitchen and bathroom are really in need of refurbishment but are usable and clean.
The sheets and towels were all changed during our stay and the lady also cleaned the apartment which was a nice feature. There was lots of cupboard space and a walk in wardrobe.
There was a safety deposit box, as I had asked, however, this was not working at all during our stay, and I wasnt notified that this was the case. I was slightly worried by the lack of security at the property. The locks on the door were quite feeble and our belongings had to be locked in suitcases the entire time which isnt ideal.
The walk to the beach was slightly longer than 5 minutes and can be quite a tiring walk if you dont have a car and are carrying things. Its a slight up-hill walk. It was very close to Holetown, the supermarket and a range of restaurants including Tides!
The pool and garden area were very nice, clean and well tended. The staff at the reception were helpful too and it was generally a quiet place.
To summarise, there were definitely things which could be improved but if you are looking for a budget holiday this apartment is suitable.

The property was very difficult to find as there were no clear directions as Google maps position was incorrect. When we arrived we found that the key code we had been given was incorrect and infact for a property in Jamaica. Luckily a window had been left open and we managed to get in, this was quite stressful we had four tired children who had just arrived after an eight and a half hour flight. When we arrived we realised it was two seperate apartments which share both the pool and the games room, this was not mentioned in the description. We had no tv or internet connection for the majority of our stay although the agent did his best to try and fix it. The agent was very helpful with any problems we had. An information pack in the villa would have been very useful, e.g how to use the hob etc etc. Barring these problems we had an enjoyable stay but they did take the edge of the holiday to begin with.
