Had a lovely stay in this villa. However, a few things need addressing. Firstly, we booked and paid for the Villa with the accommodation as advertised i.e. three beds with three bathrooms and two separate toilets. This is not the case. It’s 2 bathrooms and no separate toilets. This was highly awkward, as we were sharing with friends, but obviously, it was too late to do anything about this. On arrival, the Villa was in darkness, and we discovered that the electric had tripped. We found the fuse box and we were able to rectify this. We couldn’t find any instructions to help though. The Villa was very cold, we did turn on the heating, but we had an uncomfortable night with very little bedding. No extra blankets or pillowcases for the pillows in the wardrobes were supplied. Louise came the next day with 2 x blankets and 2 x thin throws, and also showed us how to use the TV. Again, we couldn’t find any instructions on how to use the TV. We couldn’t find any instructions for the safe either and it was only by pure luck, that I managed to work it out, so we could use it. When our friends arrived two days later, they had a cold night and in the morning, we discovered that they didn’t have a duvet on their bed at all. Another call to Louise who was surprised, but sorted it. We have stayed in many rental homes and we have always had cleaning equipment left for us to use, but none were provided. Louise said we were self catering, so we had to purchase them ourselves! We’ve never experienced this before. The folder had barely any info in it. We’ve never stayed anywhere that had such little helpful info in the folder. It really doesn’t sell Lanzarote and its sights. Also, no timetable was visible, advising of when and if the cleaners would visit, nor when the poor man was due. The pool man walked in twice, not even bothering to ring the buzzer, which was a little unnerving. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The pool was fabulous and the location was superb but attention to detail needs addressing.

Fantastic time had by all at Casa Calma! Would recommend some form of transport, as quite a walk down into Playa Blanca - we hired bikes for the duration. Excellent support from the management company when we needed advice, or had any questions. The pool was spotlessly clean and maintained twice a week. Would recommend a holiday to this villa, it was very peaceful and relaxing.

This is a lovely villa for a group of 4 adults and I imagine would be comfortable for a group that also includes 2 children. We stayed for a week in March and found the location very quiet and conveniently located for local shops and restaurants (we used the car for the <10min drive and found parking straightforward). The pool was warmer than expected and we used it most days, which was a nice bonus. A couple of aspects of the villa would benefit from a little bit of TLC, but this is no way detracted from the enjoyment of our holiday and we'd definitely recommend this villa to others. Biggest problem we face now is knowing we'll need to take a Winter sun holiday every year!

Our stay at Casa Calma was all we hoped it would be. A big part of booking this particular villa was the heated pool and that was a big hit especially as it was so well maintained during our stay. Any small problems that arose were quickly and efficiently dealt with by the excellent management team. The villa was lovely and peaceful and very relaxing and very well equipped. On the whole we had a really lovely holiday there.

We needed somewhere suitable for my disabled mother. Apart from the 4 inch step in the drive, there were no issues. The walk in double shower was really useful. We took lightweight bed blocks to raise her bed and hired a toilet seat from Island Mobility. We had a very relaxed stay - Casa Calma certainly lives up to its name! The layout worked very well for us, with three bedrooms. We really like the partially shaded outside dining area. We were able to eat while still getting some sun, and sat out til late at night in the outside patio area. The outside seating is better quality and more comfortable than any we have had before. I don't think it says in the details that the air conditioning is coin operated. We didn't use it so can't comment. The jacuzzi wasn't working while we were there so again can't comment on that either. Despite being away from the sea front, we really enjoyed the privacy and ambience of the garden. We've been to Faro Park further out towards the lighthouse many times, so appreciated being closer to town here. We walked down to the town or beach many times (about 15-20 mins walk). I teach over the Internet and was working during our second week and had no problems with the wifi. We didn't use the Ex-Pat Tv system, but it sounded interesting! Our favourite restaurant is Sebastayans in Natura Beach. It looks odd from outside but is great food and atmosphere. We thought two weeks would be long enough for a holiday here. We were wrong! To paraphrase Arnie, "We'll be back!"

Had a fantastic holiday at Villa Casa Calma. It was like a home from home with everything you need for a family holiday. The TV and internet were excellent, with a brilliant Wifi connection. We will definitely be returning, as we had such a good holiday.

This villa is situated in a quiet area, but is only about 20 minutes walk to the main shops and restaurants. The villa is very well equipped and has a lovely private pool which is cleaned twice per week. A really great villa for a relaxing holiday which we highly recommend.

The facilities are all you could ask for - nice and cool indoors and lots of room to sit in the sun or shade outside. There was really everything needed equipment wise and everything is clean and well maintained. We used the BBQ a couple of times, and there are loads of restaurants in the town centre which as 10 minute walk away (or €3 taxi ride if you don't want to walk back!) The town centre has lots of shops, and bars - we found some really nice ones round the marina. The beach is nice if you are a beach person, though we usually sunbathed round the pool (which was lovely and cool). If you have a car there are some interesting places to visit not too far away.

This villa is more than perfect, and we were sad to leave, the cleanliness and overall look for the villa was outstanding and it had everything we needed. our 4 children loved the pool and it is big enough for the whole family to enjoy. air con was a bonus and value for money and we are most certainly going back for another visit!
