Nice conversion apartment 1km from small village.  Good space and bathroom, though 4 persons would be really pushing it (sofa bed in kitchen/living room).  Definitely recommend (though may be a good idea to take your own music/DVD player).  Absolutely beautiful area, quiet and uncrowded, historic Florence within easy reach and all local scenery quite spectacular.

The property was perfect for a quiet getaway from it all. The pool was was 10/10 and great for those hot days, with a beautiful shaded gazebo area.
The veiw of the countryside was an added bonus whilst sitting outside in the evening with a glass or two of wine.
The inside of the property had all the mod cons including an american style fridge freezer with an ice machine and iced water dispenser which we used alot on hot days.
We would recommend this property and would like to revisit some time in the future.

A very well equiped property. Good service and found in good order.

My only complaint is that with a tiny baby We could have benefitted from a ground floor room with a terrace. It would have made our stay easier and more pleasant.

“The best of Tuscany”<br>Fattoria Pratale<br>  bgausnell   4 contributi California<br>22 ott 2008 | Tipo di viaggio: In famiglia    A friend told me that he had found this incredible place in Tuscany that was like something out of a story book...so I said sure you did...anyway when we &#040 6 of us &#045 3 couples&#041 decided to go to Italy my wife is Italian and her cousin &#040both the other couples are of Italian decent but born here in the States&#041 I told them about my friends suggestion and so we all preceded to look on the internet at the website for Pratale..to make a long story short we eneded up booking directly with them and oh my God was that the very best thing we have done in a very long time. When we arrived we were amazed at the location and the facilities..it was like something out of a storybook. An oldtime looking Italian Villa set in the most beautiful country side of incredible vineyards. Nestled on a hillside half way between Florence and Sienna it couldnt be in a better place. The many small towns around the area provide plenty good restaurants to eat at and so many wineries to visit and the Itaian Chianti was amazing. The host were so helpful and the place was so clean and neat and they even furnished us with some of their own wine when we arrived. We stayed there two weeks and we couldnat have picked a better place to be with many trips to Florence an overnight excursion via train to Venice and a day trip to Piza. The people of this area are so amenable and friendly and a lot of them spoke english. Our trip was just the best ever and we will stay at Pratale when we return to Italy.<br>
