We had an amazing stay at Casa Giulia. Giulia was ever helpful from booking onwards and a most kind and gracious host - helpful and informative without ever being intrusive. The house is very big with lots of space for a family to spread out, and has a lovely terrace for meals and relaxing in the shade. The highlight is undoubtedly the swimming pool, especially in 30 degree plus temperatures - a big pool, nicely warm and available whenever we wanted to use it. We loved our holiday and would thoroughly recommend.

Casa Giulia is located near to the beautiful town of Todi (about 15 mins drive) in the green hills of Umbria.   I never expected this part of Italy to be so green in August.  The pool is a really good size, down quite a steep set of steps, past the owners house (i.e not conjoined to the property) and has a great diving rock!  The pool overlooks olive groves and it is really a beautiful setting.   The house, although it looks old, is a recently built house but is very well furnished with some really nice pieces.   One double  bedroom is en suite with a bath, and the other has a WC/Basin. There is a third bathroom with shower.   My only gripe was that the metal sprung beds were really a bit creaky and too springy, so if one of you turned, the other knew about it, so we didnt sleep that well.  Thankfully there is a third bedroom to which you can escape!

We stayed in Casa Giulia on summer 2011 and spent just a wonderful week in there. We were looking for quiet and beautiful place with big pool so the house was perfect for our needs. House was clean, nicely furnished and amazingly cool despite the heat wave during our stay. Surprisingly the pool was in our private use – and we have to admit that view from the pool is really something. The owner was a nice and charming gentleman, who was ready to help and give advices whenever needed. The road that leads to the house is quite small and winding but the sanctuary you’ll find is definitely worth of that.

The gravel road and hairpin turns were worth the view and quiteness we had at Casa Guilia.  Excellent property with fantastic helpful hosts.  Really, really want to go back sometime.

The house itself is a charming "country house".  The accomodations were good, spacious, and comfortable.  The owners are friendly, approachable, and helpful.

The truly outstanding aspect of this property is its location on a hilltop with a view over the entire countryside for miles, and its close proximity to major roadways that lead easily to all the regional sights.

A really beautiful house and pool in a stunning location. Really helpful English speaking owners were on hand for recommendations and any help we needed. My only slight reservation was distance from Todi. The drive seemed a bit tortuous to start with but we soon got used to it, and it did mean we had the most spectacular views from the pool.
