Having stayed in properties booked through this site previously, we were very confident that the villa would be of a high standard - and we were not disappointed in any way!
Set on a large (very large) development, a few miles from Englewood and its superb beaches, the villa is a large, open-plan residence that was absolutely ideal for our family's needs. Everything was provided, right down to beach chairs, pool toys, a cork screw and even a couple of bikes to go riding around the area, it seems the owners had gone to every length to make our stay as comfortable as possible.
The villa was beautifully presented and even though the previous occupants had left on the morning we arrived, it had been cleaned, tidied and left looking as if nobody had been there before us.
Locally, there are as many shops as you could possible want - although (as with most places in the States), you will need a car to reach them - and there is a good Mall just a short drive away at Port Charlotte.
Englewood beach is about 8 miles away but it is worth driving just a few miles further, to get to Manasota Beach - 16 miles of soft sand, clear waters and "crowded" if another person is less than 100 yards away!
If food is your "thing" then is an excellent selection of eateries selling fresh fish and salads, along with the more "normal" fare of burger and fries. For something a "bit" different, a visit to "The Sand Bar" at Englewood Beach is a must. You can sit inside if you want but we didn't, preferring instead to sit outside with sand between our toes (the don't call it the "sand" bar for nothing!), with a cold drink and listen to whatever band happened to be on the open-air stage that night.
We must also mention the owner's communication which, like their property, was excellent, with every question and query quickly (and fully) answered.
All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable holiday experience and a property that we highly recommend (but don't tell too many people, or it might get too busy for us to book again... ).

What a beautiful place to stay. The pool was great especially with the hot weather. We had everything we could possibly need for our stay. Hoping to book again in the next year or 2. The area was lovely and quiet. We had a couple of trips away to miami and key west but it was nice to get back to a nice 'home'. I would definitely recommend this villa if you're wanting a quiet getaway.

We had a lovely relaxing week here after a busy 10 days in Disney area. We only had one point to make and that was the big trees either side of the pool that stopped the sun in the morning and later in the afternoon. Other than that it was outstanding, very homely even down to eggcups which our daughter used every morning! Would highly recommend this to others.

The villa was just as described in the advert.  Everything was in beautiful condition and was very clean.  The whole process of booking this villa and obtaining the keys etc was really easy.  I would definately recommend this villa to anyone who wanted to visit the gulf coast, you just need to be prepared to drive everywhere as shops etc are quite far from the villa,  All in all an excellent holiday.

We booked this villa online, the communication with online system was excellent, instructions clear and concise, keys were available at the villa on arrival (very useful as due to aircraft delays we arrived very late and very tired).  On arrival the villa was a welcome relief and very clean and inviting with all necessary equipment to settle in.  Good points within the villa was being very well equipped, lovely pool (used every day), entertainments package great, a pair of adult bikes to run around in, stock of books and dvds for use. Bad points (very minor items) no plastic plates for use a pool side, pool door was broken and would not lock, pool not cleaned during two week stay (same debris in pool from arrival). Would definitely use again if in the area in the future.  Final Comment would have liked to see a visitors book for comments from other users within the property.

Our second stay - have already rebooked . Everything about this house, from booking , arrival , it's location , the management company , just works .

The villa was exceptional! Beautiful, spacious and very clean with modern furnishings and appliances. it was in a lovely quiet area, ideal for rest &amp; relaxation. We found though there was a lack of information about the area i.e. area of interest, good eating places etc. Apart from that a thoroughly lovely villa to spend our holiday and would definitely recommend to family and friends.
