Excellent villa to spend a family holiday at. It's in a nice quiet neighborhood with all the amenities you need close by and an easy drive to all the usual attractions.
The house itself is great; it's in a good state of repair with a nice warm pool, cool A/C in all rooms and everything else you may need. The owner provided comprehensive information ahead of our stay. He was also quick and helpful in responding to enquires. We would be very happy to stay again.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at Villa Portabello. The location and facilities were excellent and the pool was great for the children while we were able to relax each day in the spa.  It catered for all the home comforts you would need. I would highly recommend the villa and we look forward to returning.

We stayed in this Villa in November 2016 and can honestly say we had a great time. I would assume anyone staying in a Villa in Florida would be hiring a car and with that this Villa is ideally located on a quiet estate about a 15 min drive to the Disney Parks. absolutely fantastic location and easy to find! Villa itself is clean and equipped with everything you need. The Pool is great and the rooms are all good sizes. I personally would love to own a villa in Florida and i would be looking for something like this. Stephen the owner was great also, we had a couple of questions upon arrival and Stephen was very quick to respond to and resolve any issues or queries we had. I would Highly recommend a stay here. We liked it that much that we tried to book it again for this year unfortunately it was all booked up but we managed to get another one on the same estate!

We are a family of four - two children aged 17 and 14.  We decided to have a villa instead of just a hotel room - no rush for a sunbed by the poolside.  It was lovely being able to eat in or out, with the excellent kitchen facilities and local stores to purchase everything you could possible require, this was not a problem.

Everything was clean and tidy and well presented.  The use of the phone linked through a computer connection was a bonus and worked well.  Also, the wireless connection for the Internet was very useful.

To make the most of this property, it is essential to have a car.  Disney World, etc. is only a few mins. away by car.

Would not hesitate to recommend this property to a friend.

Great Place!  Much better than a hotel.  Baby friendly/kid friendly.  Lots of space.  Wish we would have taken more days to spend at the house since we were at the theme parks almost everyday.  Really enjoyed it, had everything we needed and more.  The best thing was that the whole payment and communication transaction was safe and easy.  Owner could easily be contacted via e-mail and answered all our questions prior to our arrival.  Not one problem the whole time we were there.

We had 8 people in the house and we were all comfortable and had enough space.  
Nice to have all the conveniences of home and feel at home in this house.
The games room and the pool provided entertainment when we weren't at Disney.
The kids had a blast.
It took us about 20 minutes to reach Disney, but the drive wasn't bad and good for unwinding at the end of the day.
Overall it was great value for the money and we will always stay in a house instead of hotel now.

THE PROPERTY IS VERY NICE AND CONFORTABLE. IT IS PERFECTLY EQUIPED. MY KIDS SPENT A LOT OF TIME PLAYING PULL.

THE ONLY THING WAS THE SHEETS AND TOWELS SEEMS TO BE NOT CLEAN ENOUGH.  WE WASHED ALL OF THEM BEFORE USING. WE HAD TO BUY ADDITIONAL PILLOWS AND LEAVE THEM IN THE PROPERTY BECAUSE THEY WERE DIRTY. 

ANYWAY WE HOPE TO GO SOME SUMMER TO USE THE SWIMMING POOL BECAUSE WE ENJOYED THE CHRISTMAS TIME WE STAYED THERE. WHAT A PLEASANT SURPRISE TO FIND TWO DIFERENT CHRISTMAS TREES!!!

Lovely villa, spacious and well presented.
Well equipped, there wasnt anything we needed that wasnt already there.  Although we didnt have a child with us, the things provided for them looked good too.

Solar pool heat is great if you need it, otherwise the pool is in full sunshine from early morning until the evening.  Spa is also nice for relaxing!

The only minor problem we had was dealt with by the rental company within 24 hours.

Vonage sometimes a little unpredictable but thats not the owners fault I dont think.

Access to the pool and gym on the complex are good too.

Would definitely return, no hesitation, thanks!!

Fantastic time. Unfortunately nearly over. Villa absolutely 
fantastic- really cant thank you enough. We had a great 
time. Weather really brilliant after first couple of days no 
rain at all for past three days temps in high 90s only 
normal storms rest of time and most after dark. Would love 
to stay but alas all good things come to an end.Thanks again

Good Morning Steve,
Just a quick note to let you know how much we enjoyed 
staying at Portobello. It was everything we had hoped and 
worked very well and suited our needs completely. The house 
layout is fantastic for two families with the queen room 
perfect for grandparents. We had a few minor problems the 
battery in one of the smoke alarms needed replacing and one 
call to the management company had it taken care of within a 
hour. Great service. Once vacation 
schedules have been finalized we may be back to the Villa 
next spring as we had such a fabulous time this year. Close 
to everything – loved Clairmont and the absence of the 
Disney hustle and bustle. Take care – all the best. Don,

I just wanted to let you know that we once again had a great time in the villa, this year before going into the villa we did a cruise and we enjoyed the villa as much as the cruise. The villa was very clean and well presented and so relaxing to stay in that I wished I stayed more than a week this year, still I am in no doubt that I will be back. The other good thing about this villa is Steve himself, he is so easy to communicate with, prior to travelling and once you have arrived. 
Great guy to deal with looking forward to doing so again.

Hopefully we will be in touch again in the next couple of

there at 10 when we left - seemed very nice.

Wow what a wonderful last five days to our holiday in Orlando. The villa was a welcome respite after all the hustle and bustle of the theme parks and when the kids found the games room in the garage with pool table, footie table, darts, tv, they left us alone by the pool for the best part. Great pool toys for them to enjoy too and a bbq for our use made it a fabulous end to a great holiday. Free internet access meant we could stay in touch with those left in UK too. My wife and I, stayed at your villa in September 2008, which was booked through First Choice and enjoyed it immensley. We have been regular visitors to the Orlando area staying in other Villas and can honestly say that yours is definately the best, hence the reason, why we would like to stay again.

Just wanted to thank you very much for allowing us to stay in your beautiful villa in Florida. We arrived back home yesterday after a fabulous two weeks. We thought the villa was fabulous and we all had a fantastic time. We spent a lot of time around the villa relaxing by the pool and enjoying the games room. Facilities were excellent.

If you dont mind we have taken some of your business cards home and will be highly recommending your villa to our friends and family. It was depressing come back home to our house which is just a shadow of your villa - even our luggage didnt want to come home as we have not received it yet!
We met some really lovely people on our visit this year such as Mark (the pool guy) and his wife Dawn. We also met neighbours of yours - Mike and Gillian who live by the clubhouse.
If and when we are able to return to Florida, we will be in touch to see about renting again.

Steve, thanks again for accommodating us for the late check out. We really appreciated it and thanks for everything you have done for us to make this such a wonderful relaxing holiday.

I just want to e mail you to let you know what a great time we all had on holiday and this is down to the fact that we had such a great villa, I’ve stayed in villas before but my parents have not and they were overwhelmed by the villa that they did not want to leave. Both my parents are in there 70’s and for all of the holiday they were like two little kid’s in the theme parks and back at the villa in the pool playing around with balls and airbeds things we could not really do at a hotel, hiring a villa is the only way to visit that part of the U.S.A. in my opinion it is just so much more relaxing after a long day in the parks and I’m glad that my parents could experience it all as well. They both liked it so much that they want to go back with brother and his family in 2011 plus cousin and a friend I work with has asked for information on the villa and next year I have already booked a cruise for a week in Florida and was looking for a quote for the villa from the 10th October 2010 until 17th October 2010 (7 nights) can you include the pool heating in this quote also please? Just thinking sitting here typing this bloody freezing this time last week it was red hot in the 90 still I could look through the picture’s it might warm me up a bit ha ha!
