Quality Hotel Youghal Ltd

If you are looking to holiday in Youghal area Quality Holiday homes  &amp; Leisure Centre are a good choice. The staff were very nice to deal with and the house we stayed in, although basic, was clean and good for families. We had two young children (4 &amp; 6) and 17 year old. In the house itself there were plenty of towels and the staff came around with replacement towels, toilet paper and took our rubbish away whenever we asked. There were shower/shampoo supplies for each of the bathrooms and lots of hot water. The house was spacious with two en-suite plus main bathroom and beds were comfortable. The only negative about the house was the TV was old and temperamental and we had to ask for a replacement DVD player. We also had to ask how the cooker worked but they sent someone down for all our queries immediately and dealt with them efficiently. We brought the kids bikes too and they were able to cycle around near the house easily. The facilities at the hotel are a bonus, the pool is FREE and great for everyone, kids pool, bubble pool and jacuzzi and main pool is 1.3m deep throughout so very safe. Didn't use the kids club/cinema so can't comment on them. Although there is no WiFi in the house, there is free WiFi at the hotel which was useful for the 17yr old! The beach is within walking distance although the week we were there it was a bit windy and overcast and there was a lot of jelly fish around but that's Ireland for you. Youghal town itself was a bit disappointing but the property was ideally located for exploring other areas such as Ardmore, Ballycotton, Middleton and was also very close to Cork City.  I would recommend this property for young families as it has good facilities and is a good base for travelling around Cork/Waterford areas and good value for money.

The Apartments are nice and clean. A lot of space and also in terms of interior e.g. Kitchen stuff to work with, spacious bedrooms and bathrooms!

We really enjoyed our stay, the hotel upgraded us to a larger holiday villa which was fantastic.  The hotel is in a great location, I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a relaxing break on the beach.

Great value because of free use of a really good swimming pool and gym.
The appartments were clean and each bedroom had an en-suite or a bathroom attached.
Staff were very helpful and friendly.

The only problems we had were:

The phone messages left for us were not delivered for hours. Also, people would call when we were in the room and the phone would not ring.

The bed sheets were not changed for the 2 weeks were there.

Very comfortable and clean, it even had a dishwasher. We have stayed there before and would stay again. There is a bar with entertainment laid on in the adjoining hotel, very handy, saves having to drive elsewhere.
Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful holiday and would recommended to anyone who was considering a holiday to this area to book this villa. The facilities are excellent, the property is well maintained and the owner has provided everything you could possibly need to have a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The gardens and the whole complex is well laid out and there are some really nice restaurants close byespecially those recommended by the owner.

The property was very conveniently located - very near the main St James street but a few steps from the road itself meaning that overall it was quite quiet. The second bedroom window does look out over a nearby pub garden so there was some minor niose, but only if you wanted an exceptionally early night (i.e. before 11/midnight). The property was very well maintained, clean and had a good stock of crockery and cutlery as well as some basic storecupboard items and cleaning products. Of particular mention was the housekeeping service, Cherry tree who I wish to say a special thsnk you. When we arrived, the king size bed needed separating into 2 singles and we were lacking one duvet. Cherry tree went out of their way to help us , giving us emergency spare bedding and even arranging a visit from the very helpful landlord to sort the beds/spare duvet within a couple of hours. They telephoned us regularly to let us know what was going on, when and by whom. It was really appreciated by all of us, especially as it was Pride weekend and probably the busiest time of year. Good customer service is hard to find!

Very good only problem we found was trying to obtain a second set of keys as there was 3 people staying and was only given 1 set.Just meant we all had to come out from a night out at the same time
