We had a wonderful stay at Casa Boa Vista, as the villa and surrounding area were beautiful and had everything that we needed for a great holiday. The area is quiet, yet close to plentiful amenities and pretty towns that are well worth a visit. The villa is one of the best that we have stayed at, with all the facilities you could need, and with plenty of indoor and outdoor space. We spent mornings on visits, and then enjoyed the fabulous pool, games room and terrace for the rest of the day. It is also worth visiting the local bistro, Casa De Pasto Do Carmo, as the food is simple yet delicious, with everything at a reasonable price. We pre-ordered the cataplana for our last visit, which was glorious! The local caretaker, Inês, was very friendly and helpful, and it was great to know that she was on hand should any issue arise. But we had no issue at all, as Casa Boa Vista is an excellent villa, to which we would very much like to return, very soon! Thank you to Paula and Inês for the help with our booking and stay, and best wishes to you.

The villa was everything we wanted; it was was spacious, comfortable, spotlessly clean and the kitchen was very well equipped. The pool was glorious as it was kept at a perfect temperature and was big and deep enough to have a proper swim. The games room was well used and loved by all. It included a table tennis table, pool table, darts board and board games galore. It was too hot for boules in the daytime, but it was lovely to play in the evening. We struggled to find time though as there was so much else to do! Inês looks after the property and she couldn’t do enough for us. She was easy to contact and responded very quickly to answer any questions we had. It made the stay completely stress-free. We had to drive everywhere which we were fine with as the benefit was a quiet and tranquil location up in the hills with a gorgeous cooling breeze, even on the hottest day. The villa is about 10 mins drive to the local supermarket in Moncarapacho which had a cafe inside and was a decent size. Our favourite restaurant, Antonio’s, was also there where we had the best stone cooked steaks we had ever had. There were lots of lovely beaches to explore within 20 to 30 mins drive and Tavira town is well worth a visit. We hope to be back next year.

We stayed at this villa as a large family of 8 needing plenty of space and this villa did not disappoint! In my opinion the photos do not do the villa justice as it’s so much bigger than anticipated. Every room is really big, especially the double room with en suite located upstairs. Everyone had their own space when needed especially my son who is autistic and was relaxed the whole holiday which was so important to us. The pool is also a great size and always warm enough to take a dip or swim, my 7 year old daughter was barely out of it. The weather was beautiful with a lovely subtle breeze all day. As we were happy to spend most of our time at the villa we decided against hiring a car, instead we used the Uber app when venturing 10 mins into the town and they always arrived quickly and we’re very cheap! Olhão was lovely and food was Devine, one day we took the ferry to Farol and enjoyed the beach with big waves! Overall I cannot fault the villa, owner and manager they are very accommodating. Our holiday will be one to remember and would not hesitate to come back, thank you!

Our stay at Casa Boa Vista in early July was the perfect family holiday. We were 8 people, from small children to grandparents, and Casa Boa Vista was just the perfect villa. Lots of space both inside and outside, and the pool!! We had people in the pool from early morning to bedtime. The house was very clean and well equipped, appliances were new and functional, and whatever we needed was there in the house somewhere. It was very hot (unusually hot) the week we were there with temperatures up to 35 degrees and maybe more, but it wasn’t really a problem. There was a strong ocean breeze during the day which made life comfortable, and we used the air conditioning in the bedrooms through the night. If anything, the living room was too hot in the evenings, but it was not a big issue. The house has a good location, quite private and with a nice country view. We really like the area and the surroundings, with easy access to supermarkets and restaurants and beaches at the coast. The contact with Paula the owner and with Ines the local manager was pleasant and problem free. The property is just as nice as it looks on the website, if not even better, and we would rent it again any day!

We have just had the pleasure of a week's stay at Casa Boa Vista. What an outstanding villa! The villa is set in a semi rural location and very peaceful and tranquil. The views from the villa are wonderful, so if you want peace and quiet and time to chill and unwind, this is where you should stay. You have everything you could possibly want - the kitchen has all facilities and every utensil. Rooms are exceptionally spacious and comfortable. We stayed with our friends and loved our evenings playing pool and table tennis in the games room. We did visit the local bistro a couple of times and was not disappointed. The food was lovely as were the owners. The swimming pool was amazing, warm and such a good size. We have visited Portugal on several occasions and stayed along the coast, but we do not regret staying here in the villa as we felt it was exceptional and we cannot wait to return.

Beautiful, spacious, fully equipped villa. The photos really don’t do justice to the size and quality of this one. The pool is big and was very well used during our stay and we spent hours sat on the veranda. The villa was well supported by the lovely, efficient Ines and a thorough cleaning, pool maintenance and gardening team. The only negative is that there was a lack of local amenities meaning a car journey was required for all shopping. However the local restaurant was within walking distance.

Delighted you all enjoyed the very lovely Casa Alegria and local support teams. As per our advert we do say car hire essential to access shops and explore the unspoit local area.

Very nice villa! If possible, it was even better than the description. The pool, the bedrooms, the living room were all nice and clean and comfortable. Enough space for 7 adults and a baby, no problem, and everything in working order. The contact with the owner and the local agent was problem free. We really enjoyed our stay, and if we ever go to Algarve again, the Casa Alegria will be on top of our list.

We al loved our stay at Casablanca Boa Vista. The only negative feedback is the lack of a handy shop or bar nearby.

Appreciate your comments but part of the sheer pleasure of the villa is that it is in a semi rural location, car hire essential. However we do highlight the excellent bar/bistro restaurant just 2 mins drive or 12+ mins walk from villa, open 10am-11pm. Glad you enjoyed and thank you for 5 star feedback.

Ines bent over backwards to help us on first day and provided access to alternate villa while ours was being prepared. Well appointed and games room was an extra bonus. This was reflected in the price. Local amenities very poor and sparse. Definitely need a car. Gardens and pool superb. Understand gardens need maintenance but would be good to know in advance when gardening to be completed as was very noisy and better to out of villa while chain saw work ongoing. In summary a superb villa , excellent local support but a very rural and remote location.

This luxury villa is in a quiet rural location with other luxury villas. However horseriding and golf just 5-10 mins away. Shops, supermarkets, hypermarkets, museum, churches just 5+ mins drive. Wonderful beach and access to deserted island of Fuzeta only 6.9 miles drive. Easy 10 min drive to Olhao to access boats to Armona, Farol and Culatra islands. In Olhao you can book trips to see dolphins, water ski and much more. If you wish to visit the noisier more commercial area of Central Algarve that's easy too, just 25 mins drive. Then return to the peace and tranquility of the villa where there are no pubs or discos, just an excellent bistro restaurant 800m from the villa. This villa is in the very unspoilt and beautiful Eastern Algarve but with easy access to many wonderful unspoilt places to visit.
