We had a great family holiday, first time in Portugal, loved it. Managed to see 2 football matches in local stadiums, cave boat trip and visits to beautiful local beaches. House was spacious, relaxing. Pool was refreshing and BBQ a welcome addition. Fantastic local restaurant in walking distance. Couple of improvements could be made - fridge freezer not the best and mobile air con unit in one room not as good as the two rooms our children 'bagged', but overall a really enjoyable trip. We had a great time here. The villa is extremely clean and very spacious. A few areas need some updating but it’s incredibly good value for money. It’s a little difficult to find if you miss the vital turning like we did but if you head for Luisas Place or the Sesmarias supermarket you’ll easily find it. We went to one of the nearest beaches at Farragudo which is beautiful. Head up the hill from the first car park. There’s two bars/ restaurants and free parking Local supermarket is great but for better value head to the Pingo Doce about 8 mins away by car. Luisas place 4 min walk is an excellent restaurant run by a Dutchman Hari. Great food, friendly staff. There was a bit of noise from dogs some nights. And the daytimes can get busy as it’s all apartments around so there’s poolmen and handymen arriving and doing their bit. All in all incredible villa, everything possible you can think of in the kitchen, hairdryers, games and an entire bookshelf of books to borrow. Thank you

The owner and manager could not have been more accommodating. We needed to cancel our booking 2 consecutive years because of lockdowns but it was never an issue. I was tempted to mark the property down on advert accuracy because the photos don't do the property justice! The only downside is the length of walk to the local town. Taxis were about 8E at night. A bus timetable would have been helpful. There are however a few bars and restaurants within easy walking distance.

Everything was amazing! The villa is a great place for family and friends! Paul (owner) is very good and friendly person! Highly recommended Avagarosa to everyone 👍 👌 👏

Fabulous villa. Really spacious and well equipped with loads of loungers and beach towels. Looks better than the pictures. Owner was great - flexible with payment terms because of the pandemic. It's a lovely quiet area - a few cafes and restaurants nearby or a 30 minute walk into carvoeiro.

We had a pleasant time at the property. I loved the property and communication with the owner and manager was great. Kevin was always ready to reply to my messages and phone calls. The thing that I particularly loved was the windows; they are very secure, with lots of locks and shutters. They also had mesh on each window which prevented mosquitoes. the kitchen counter had lots of ants and was difficult for us to cook or eat. Having said that, I still recommend this villa. I would come again to this place if I come to Algarve.

We had a wonderful time , all facilities were there , the pool was great if a little cold !! You would need a car if you wanted to see the area or go shopping , the shop up the road was expensive . our party consisted of 3 generations and we all really loved Aragarosa.

Although we never saw anybody related to the property, the directions to the villa were great and the keys were in the key safe as described. The villa was clean. Towels were plentiful, and replenished during the week. The pool was lovely, clean and secluded and the garden manicured. The area was quiet on the whole and there were local shops and bars for essentials with a variety of supermarkets nearby. We had a great stay and would both recommend the property and consider returning another year.

villa was great and pool area amazing as the weather was very hot .downside was major work going on on 1 villa being completed across road and one being built next door so the noise of building work marred what should have been a quiet relaxing holiday only three days no noise area had two bars at top of road with good food and cheap drinks ,and one Cozinha da Avo 10 mins walk away excellent menu 13 euros 3 courses plus water & a drink + coffee nice place ,would stay here again but would need to know building work was completed as this villa had everything we needed as a grown up family ,just a shame it was so noisy when we stayed .
