About

My family and I love this beautiful area of Spain. The children have enjoyed being there on holiday with us since they were tiny and now that they are young adults they still love it! Both of them speak fluent Spanish, having studied it at school and feel very much at home in beautiful Andalucia. I am a Contributing Editor with the Financial Times newspaper and my husband is CEO of a HK company. We own two villas on this beautiful site; one for us and one which we rent out. Both villas are beautiful, spacious, filled with sunshine and nicely decorated. Friends and family enjoy them as much as our renters do! The villas are not modern monstrosities like so many new-builds. Instead, they are gorgeous in a real old-style Spanish way, with wrouth-iron elements, traditional arches and overhanging bougainvillea.. That doesn't mean that they are old-fashioned at all! On the contrary, we have modernised the villas with new, updated bathrooms, kitchens and extended the living area to create a large, light-filled living room that opens out onto the terrace. The terraces are simply divine and where most people love to hang out all day and well into the night. You can lounge on the sofas, sunbathe on the lawn, and eat al fresco almost all year round. From the terrace to the pool! And the views of the Mediterranean in front of the villas is simply breathtaking. On clear days you can see all the way up to Morocco and Africa. The villa is in a brilliant location: just far enough away from the noise of traffic, bars restaurants etc, yet close enough to reach them easily. The best beaches are right there as are the wonderful "chiringuitos" or beach restaurants that specialise in barbequing fresh sardines and other seafood on a boat at the back!
