The apartment was fine in a great location the only thing wrong with it that the patio doors In the double bedroom did not lock there were know catchers on doors and in the single bedroom where The children were in the roller shutter was broken so it would not go up or down and the patio door in There room we managed to fix it. So not very happy with the response I got of caretaker as he was going to Send someone round to fix them I never heard from him until the day before we left and he said nothing about it I have yourselfs a email about it many thanks DAVID CHURCH.

This flat is in a great location just behind the university. We got the airport bus which stopped outside the university and then a 3 min walk. For those of you with a late flight there is a drop off baggage locker room just off the corner of the catalunya square. The restaurants around the apartment are fantastic lots of variety and price ranges. A couple of blocks behind you will find Barcelona's oldest market which has been refurbished well worth a visit at lunchtime for a snack. Not on the tourist trails amazing value. The flat itself is very spacious. It is a little tired and in need of refurbishment. The plumbing needs to be addressed we had a leak and a broken toilet in the main bathroom when we were there.

We are glad you enjoyed your stay. Th problem with the toilet appears to have occurred on the evening of your last stay so we wouldn't characterizes the apartment as needing plumbing attention. As with all amenities used by several guests they often need servicing, as the toilet was immediately the need was brought to our attention. The apartment has recently been refurbished (including new sofas, dining furniture and entertainment equipment) so we are not sure by what you meant that it is a "little tired", although we accept everyone is entitled to their own perspective based on their own experience of life.

This property is great value for money. The children loved the pool, which was well looked after and we appreciated the various toys that were left at the villa for our use. The welcome pack was extremely generous and the villa was very spacious for the five of us. We were provided with everything you need in a 'home from home'. It was a quiet area but close to shops/beach, etc. In hindsight, we think it would've been best to hire a car to see more of the area but there is a bus service available, which we found easy to use. The only negative is that the double bed was lumpy and uncomfortable. We would recommend this villa if you are after a relaxing family holiday.

The villa was in a good area with many facilities nearby. The pool was very good and the upstairs patio was excellent. The kitchen was well equiped and the bathroom very nice. The villa was very clean and spacious and the children liked the TV with all its stations. I did find the bed quite uncomfortable especially after a touch of sunburn. The walk to the beach was rather long and it was difficult to cross the dual carriageway to get there.

Hi, thanks for the review. The Beach can be accessed via the underpass, no need to try and cross that busy dual carriageway.

This apartment certainly met expectations in terms of its décor and facilities, it looked stunning and with its high ceilings it was really light and airy. The kitchen was very well equipped and it was good that there were cleaning products available, save us having to go and buy everything. All the rooms were exactly as shown in the pictures - the main bedroom was really spacious and the wall to wall wardrobes were great! It is in an ideal location, perfectly placed in the city to access all areas, but also lovely and quiet of an evening. Our greeter was really friendly and helpful, I texted her on a couple of occasions and she responded back really quickly. My criticisms would be that It mentioned in the advert that there would be access to the roof terrace, but when we got there we were told that the terrace was not available which was a shame. In the twin bedroom there were no shutters to stop the sun coming in and it was also the only room not to have an air con unit so it was really quite warm at night when trying to sleep. Apart from the couple in the bathrooms and one small one in the lounge there were no other mirrors in the apartment. So girls be aware, there is no full length mirror to check out your outfit! We really enjoyed our stay here and for the money that we paid we were all pleased what the apartment offered.

The property was ideally situated in the heart of Barcelona and although it was in the midst of all the hustle and bustle, the apartment itself was quiet, spacious and very comfortable.

Very spacious apartment in a really good central location. Well equipped and quiet in the evenings. We really enjoyed our stay and the greeter was extremely helpful!!
