The Lighthouse Partnership

I rented the property for a family re union. We were a group of 10 with different needs, consists of teenagers up to my parents in their seventies. I exchanged lots of emails with the owner to make sure , the villa accommodate our needs and we all arrive easily to the villa from three different airports , and different dates and times, all thanks to the owner, which went very smoothly.
The villa was clean and beautiful. the pictures were the true representative of the villa. It had beautiful garden with variety of plants, including pomegranates, grapes, plums, rosemary, tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, lemon, figs... as well as variety of flowers. You also have got a view of the mountains whilst sitting in the garden. A guy comes every morning and clean the pool, and washes the sitting area. There are everything you need for a proper barbecue.
The villa has got air condition in all bedrooms, except the living room, which can do with a unit as in the afternoon it used to get a bit hot. May be, if there were metal net in windows, we did not need an air condition at night, as nights were nice and cool.
The location of the villa was perfect. It was not too steep, for a walk and was close enough to all shops (there was a Sok shop for everyday need, just two minuets walk). Also there is a taxi point one minuet walk, which all you need just to press a button and it will come in few minuets (20 lire to Hisaronu) just 5 minuets drive. There is a minibus stop 5 minuets walk which is cheaper.
There are plenty things to do for all ages. We went for paragliding, cruise and visit to Fathiye market and Kayokay village . Transport and lunch are included in all activities, which are good value for money.
All and all amazing holiday, and we all enjoyed every minute of it. We had great time in the villa and can not wait to go back next year.

Superb villa. 13 of us in our party and plenty of room for all of us. The pool is fantastic and got used daily. Short walk to shops bars etc. Taxi call point 100yards from villa and vey quick service. Quick response from the owner and very helpful and knowledgable about the area. Go to Angora restaurant for your breakfast about 5 minutes walk you won't be disappointed. May even return to this villa next year. AMAZING 2 week holiday !!!

had great stay at the lighthouse villa, everything was made very easy from booking with clickstay to arranging airport transfers through the owner ainzlie, we were a party of eleven and the villa was easily big enough for us all to live comfortably. the pool was fantastic with plenty of sunbeds and parasols, to travel into the main strip of hisaronu took about five mins on the dolmus which you could catch on the main road about 200m from the villa, there was also a supermarket about the same distance. we booked a jeep safari and private boat through activities unlimited and both were superb, cant wait to go back.

Against - 1.  Needs bathroom on top floor.   2.  The house was very basic - ALL bedrooms EACH need a wardrobe AND a chest of drawers, some of our party lived out of suitcases.  3.  The shower in the 1st floor bathroom not working well.  4.  Kitchen needs more large saucepans or cooking pots (for large parties).  5.  The tiles around pool and on the verandah became extremely slippery and dangerous when wet.  5.  Seems very bad area for mosquitoes - some villas advertised had mosquito nets over beds - would at least suggest a warning notice could be posted for arrivals before they are bitten to death on the first night !                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  

For - 1.  The pool area and garden very pleasant and looked after well - we liked the figs and the washing line useful.   2. The house well laid out for large parties except for points above - we liked the open-plan living area.   3.  The house in a good position i.e. easy walk to dolmus, local shops, bars, restaurants, etc.  4.  The neighbours were unobtrusive, and the house is not overlooked.  5.  The staff were all good and attended to any needs or problems promptly.  6. The transfers were good except for the lateness of the original pick-up.                                                                                                                                     

Overall we had a very good holiday, although 3 of the teenage boys had ear infections ( was there enough chemical in the pool?)  We all particularly enjoyed the jeep safari and boat trip arranged by Activities Unlimited,  and the few who did quad biking and paragliding enjoyed these too.   We had teenagers with us - a suggestion -  the lawn area in front of the verandah could be ideal for table tennis and/or a pool table - covered by an awning or plant covered pergola, or even the lawn area at the back of the house could be utilised for this purpose.

just returned from 2 weeks at the villa had a fantastic time the weather,villa, people and country I loved it all. the villa is in a lovely location step onto the balcony and the view is excellent  watch the sun at 6.45am come down the mountain till it hits the villa at 9.30 am we all enjoyed diving into the pool every morning then sitting outside for breakfast. All 14 of us enjoyed ourself . The pool is well maintained,man arrived every morning to take care of it and poolside any problems  or questions there was always someone to speak to. plenty of room for us all  everything we needed for our holiday was there loved the air-con in the bedrooms made all the difference. will definitely be booking up again cant wait.

Fabulous Holiday, Villa is amazing has every thing you need. Pool was god send to keep cool, cleaned every day by Pool man, resort is lovely place &amp; people very friendly, Transfer were great &amp; on time both ways, Used same company for 2 day trips. My family and I have just returned from a fabulous holiday at the Villa Lighthouse (2 July to 16 July). Ages ranged from 66years to 6months including 2 small children and 2 teenagers. Firstly our transfers to and from Dalaman were excellant using the Villas own reliable local company ( Activities Unlimited ). This company also organised our trips, private boat trip, mud baths and paragliding.
The Villa is in a good location.  Clean and well maintained. As stated in another review the crockery was adequate  but dated. All the bedrooms had air conditioning, but we found that the dining room and lounge area could do with some air conditioning or even ceiling fans. The pool and gardens were excellently maintained each day (sometimes twice a day) by Edwan.  
 A short walk to local stores one of which did free delivery to the villa. It is also walking distance to restaurants, taxis and dolmus (bus service) The walk into Hisaronu takes about between 20 and 30 minutes.  We were there for 2 weeks, ate out most nights and did not have a bad meal.  Someone should shoot the cockerals, but we all do wish we were back there. Great holiday.

We stayed for 1week in mid June . Our transfers were smooth and as described in the arrival/ departure info which was Emailed to us. We were the first holiday makers in the villa this season. The gardens and pool area were beautiful and maintained daily. There were only 7 in our party so we had plenty of space. The villa can hold up to 14 but that may be a little cramped. The rooms are basically furnished, some with limited storage space but this was not a problem for us. In the kitchen the crockery was well used and some could well do with replacing. The toaster did not work. We reported it but it was not replaced by the time we left, however it was not a problem as we used the grill in the oven.    The aircon was not working in one of the bedrooms but this was promptly repaired. The villa was clean but there is no maid service, it is advisable to take a couple of J clothes and a tea towal with you. The dishwasher and washing machine were essential if you have children. The villa is generally in a quiet location however you do have to get used to the noisy cockerells who wake up early!
Dolmush buses are a great way to get around and very frequent. The villa is in walking distance of several restaurants. All the ones we visited were cheap excellent value and very clean. We took half turkish lira, but most places took english money, not everywhere took credit cards. We ate out most of the time because it was so cheap. There are lots of reasonable excursions shop around for the best deal . We had a  great day out at the mud baths, rock tombs and beach with lunch for £15 each, we also hired aboat for the day which was lovely, Haggle for the best deal. This villa is ideal for large families.This is a nice area of Turkey  and we found most people friendly and helpful. Take care in the heat, it was up to 42 degrees in June, but the garden had shade and the air-con was great. It was also cooler on the coast. We really enjoyed our holiday and will return to Turkey one day.
