I really liked this apartment. Was bettern than I had expected. Location was perfect, very clean, extremely confortable. I will definetely stay here again in the future.

The shower might be a bit small but after firs day you get use to it. I felt like home. Had a full kitchen to cook whenever I wanted to. Wireless worked great.  Again I will stay here in future.

Thans again for making my stay in Madrid memorable.

Well organized with the payment and the keys. For an apartment in the center of town very quiet. Practical and well equipped. Its worth the price.
You must be able to climb the stairs to the 5.th floor.

I liked the apartment. It was quite comfotable and a perfect location. I appreciated that it was relatively quiet in the evenings. I would have preferred a softer bed. Climbing 6 flight of stairs was exhausting, but I knew that when I booked the place.

This is a cozy, well decorated apartment with excellent facilitiesa strong wifi connection (this is often a problem at many apartments and hotels Ive stayed at), extra supplies (shampoo, etc.), and everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The detailed instruction booklet was extremely helpful. It couldnt have been easier to figure out how everything works, where everything is, etc. And in the noisy neighborhood of Chueca, this apartment was absolutely quiet at night. Well worth the walk up the stairs to the 5th floor that so many have talked about. I recommend it without reservation.

The apartment is very well situated in a vibrant part of town.  The apartment had good light and a nice feel.  The guide compiled by the owners was very helpful.  Although the stairs were a work out, we knew to expect that and were not troubled by it.  We did notice a couple of bugs toward the end of our October stay however.

All things considered we enjoyed the apartment very much.

This was my second time staying at this property and my first review from January 2009 is still available to view...so read that for information on the steps, info packet, etc...

I would like to add that the apartment is starting to show signs of wear-and-tear. The whole apartment could use a fresh coat of paint, the sofa could use a good cleaning, and the fan just does not work proplerly anymore and should be replace with a couple larger ones...one for the bedroom and one for the main living area.

Would be nice to have an extra set of linens, both for the beedding and the bathroom....it was a pain to have to wash towels every-other day-but at least their is a washing machine availabe to do this. 

Price was a little on the high end for the ammenities included and due to the fact that id does need a good cleaning and painting...but still a GREAT locationand a good value for the money. 

I would definitely stay here again, as long as it was not in the summer since it does not have air conditioninig....hopefully that could change in the near future as neighbors in the same building were having units installed during my stay!

Located absolutely in the centre of Madrid and a minute walk from the Grand Via, this well priced and well decorated apartment is perfect for sightseers. It’s located in a ‘SOHO’ style area of the city, so there’s the odd Sex Shop but the initially intimidating street is actually very friendly and just bustling with people, cafes, restaurants and bars. It is at the top of 5 flights of stairs, plus has no air-con, but at the start of June was a perfectly pleasant temperature with the windows ajar, despite the 30c+ days. Compact with everything you could want in an apartment including free Wi-Fi. We had an amazing time staying here, it is compact and probably a touch overpriced because of that.

The apt is clean and well-kept - very much as described. Perfect for a couple (or a couple with one child).

Small, but efficient, and has everything you need - great value for the cost.

Excellent flat in an excellent location to walk to all the main attractions in the centre of Madrid.  Appartment well laid out and has everything you need.  Highly recommend for up to three people.

Beware of the stairs! There are 92 steps to climb before you get to the front door of the apartment. Very good exercise, however if you or anyone you are traveling with is unable to climb a lot of stairs, several times a day, then I would stay clear from this apartment. After a few days, you do get used to the stairs and they get easier to climb-be sure to find the light switch and turn the lights on BEFORE attempting to climb the stairs, or even before going down the stairs...the steps are made of old wood that is not level or square and it is very easy to slip on them, so do not attemp in the dark-and hold on to the railings!

The apartment was small, but neat and clean. I ended up traveling alone, and the apt. was the perfect size for one or two-but more than that and it could be a bit uncomfortable and a bit of inconvenient since the hot water runs out quickly-especially if you like to take a long shower. 

I was suprised to find that the property owners has left some starter groceries in the refrigerator and the cupboards, which was nice and convenient. 

Excellent location-close to everything...I walked everywhere and only took the Metro to and from the airport, which was very nice because it only cost 1.90Euros each trip. 

READ THE FOLDER OF INFORMATION AS SOON AS YOU GET IN THE APARTMENT! I did not open this up until the 2nd day-would have saved me a lot of headaches if I had read it when I arrived. Has information on how to use the Television, how to turn on the heat, information and maps of the area, how to use the washing machine, etc....very helpful...especially if you read it when you arrive before you try to figure it all out yourself. 

I think it was a bit over-priced for the size and the fact of the steps and that you had to do your own cooking, cleaning and laundry...when I converted the Euros to USD, it ended up costing about $135.00 per night. 

Overall- a nice, small, clean apt. with excellent access to most everything.
