Me and my 6 friends had a brilliant time here! The facilities were very good maybe a few minor repairs and finishing touches needed but on the whole a lovely place! Our only complaint was the location as we didn't realise how little to do in the local area there was. Lisbon is only 30-40 mins drive so if you hire transport there is always that possibility! We have however discussed a possible visit again next year!

Though we arrived a few hours early we were shown and allowed to settle in as it was cleaned and ready. The owner was very helpful in organising taxis and anything else we asked for. They also responded to our requests promtley and were very good when we checked out. Personally we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you to the owners.

Unfortuately the standard of this villa is not good enough, the outside space is great, and the pool is a very good size, however it was not heated, as advertised,(though didnt really need to be).  The pool is very deep for children, our 5 year old could not stand up in it, and there is no separate childrens pool.  

The fabric of the villa is tired, but we could live with that, however 2 of the bedrooms have no windows, and one only has a sky light.  These bedrooms felt claustrophobic and airless.  The villa smelt damp all week despite having the doors and windows fully open.  However, what was really unacceptable was the fact that the sheets did not fit the double beds and one double bed had a single top sheet covered by a blanket.  Some of the linen and the towels smelt damp. 

The  2 washing machines and a dishwasher  worked, as did the cooker, oven and fridges.  The barbque was great too, and there was plenty of crockery, glasses and cutlery.

The villa is nicely situated with a 10 minute walk to the beach, but it is quite a rural location which was fine for us. We were a party of 15 and despite all of this had a very enjoyable time. However could not recommend this villa at the current time.

In the advertisement this is discribed as a villa. In fact it is two appartments in a villa for rent, one with 3 bedrooms and one with four (one with no window) There is somebody living in the rest of the house and she has a small house in the garden that also is for rent. So first of all you dont have the villa and garden for yourself. 

Next the kidspool is not working. The jacuzzi was so dirty that we did not use it. The kids were really dissapointed about this. We were four familys travelling with in total eight children, ages 1 to 5.

The house was not clean, the bedlinen had stains and the house had a smell that did not go away, even though we had all windows and doors open as much as possible. 

There was not enough ordinary glasses or cuttlery for 16 people. 

The owner had the house cleaned again for us, bedlinen changed and we also got a rent refund.

We knew from the pictures that the villa wasnt new, but we were expecting a higher/normal standard. The villa is worn down and a lot of things are broken. 

The villa was a dissapointment so the trip to Portugal didnt turn out to be as nice as we had hoped. 

The two things we liked about the villa was the pool and the barbecue area.

Be aware that the Sintra area can be cloudy and foggy.

No complaints except that the "second 3m diameter childrens pool" wasnt actually in our use, not that we needed it though as we had no children with us.

Very quiet and private area. We probably kept a lot of noise but didnt get any complaints from neighbours or staff. Staff was very helpful in every regard. Highly recommended.

Finland

This property is great for a large party, there is plenty of bedrooms and loads of sitting space around the villa. Two pools meant we could play in one and take a more relaxed swim in the other. The addition of the separate two bed outbuilding was good for the baby and family.
The owners responded to all our requests and issues quickly and with good grace.
It was partially airconditioned but we went in mid August and did not  need to use it.
Great location, near beach and town.
Brilliant day out in Sintra but get there early as parking can be a problem.
The restaurants in the town were not that good and with the exchange rates quite pricey. Had an awful meal in the Neptune on the beach, think they used salty sea water to cook.

would go back again and recomend to everyone.

Myself and 13 friends stayed at the villa for my hen weekend, We had an amazing time!
The facilities were fantastc and the locals were extremely friendly, the beach is a 5-10 minute walk from the villa and is gorgeous.

I would certainly love to come and stay again. :o) and will be recommending it to friends and family.

the villa was superb,very well equipped and beautifully furnished, with more than enough room for the 8 in our party. The exterior space was well maintained and very spacious and the pool was wonderful. The villa is very private yet very close to the town. As we did not have a car, this was essential.

I would recommend this villa to anyone

Fantastic villa, the pictures do not tell the full story. Even the annex is so well equiped it could be a holiday destination on its own. Even more inpressive though was the help privided by the owner on our arrival. We did not arrive until late when all the local shops had shut, he drove me to the nearest super market so I could grab some bits for the kids. Very help full. Highly recomended villa and the local village has all the estential shops and restaurants.
