This is my third business life. On leaving school, I became an estate agent selling residential property in central London until 1985. I then set up a security installation business with 2 others in North London and sold my shares in the business, home & cars to go on a life-changing wild adventure that we are still living. We have 2 grown children who are now a Private banker in Singapore and a wife/mother in Estepona Port, looking after our precious grandchild Julian. Lynne (my wife of 30-odd years) who was a nurse at Kingston Hospital and I live here and run the business and our very friendly dog 'Charlie' amuses the clients. The business comprises Villa Tranquilla and our Port Apt which we purchased in 2002. We left Surrey, the drizzle and expensive life behind us to try something new. We bought the apartment after seeing only 3, but it took 62 houses before we saw our 'country house on the edge of town' that we converted into 4 terrific apartments. We live in the largest and rent out the other three on holiday lets. After 13 years, we have a pretty faithful group of re-visitors, friends who have been recommended by previous clients and new clients. It is a wonderful life-style as we get the benefits of the weather; cheaper life; meeting some wonderful people who stay and often end up as good friends, then finally living in another country, seeing how the Spanish live yet still being close enough to pop back to England to see friends & family on a semi-regular basis.
