The property exceeded my expectations and I had a fantastic holiday.  The only issue was the flat tyre on the hire vehicle supplied, which left us without a vehicle for one day !!!
Transfers were extremely smooth and well organised.

Starting with the collection and dro p off provided, this has to be rated as excellent and makes life that much more relaxed.

The property is located very near the Church Square, this has one big advantage when trying to find your way home being the largest church dome on the Island, and it is large, the square has a small shop for the basics and a bar that serves some very nice Pizza, they also do a good breakfast although I only saw this on the last day!  

The village itself is not very touristy with the local older men tending to sit outside the bars chatting in the evening, with no women around this can be a bit off putting but it was all very polite and friendly.  While Im on the village a visit to the church and a trip up the top of the dome is a must do, you can even get up into the Bell tower great views.

Onto the property, overall we liked it, with only the two of us we had plenty of room a family with two children would be OK but outside does not offer space for running around as such.  The kitchen facilities were good with the exception of no Microwave, not a problem for us but worth a mention, also they only had steak Knives, not great for spreading butter or small children.  Apart from that plenty of everything else, we used the Barbeque which worked fine and was great for fresh fish from the supermarket in Victoria.

We used the hot tub which was great, this is in the main bedroom which is a little unusual, bed cloths are verging on needing to be renewed and I have to say the main bed is the noisiest bed I have ever slept in, not uncomfortable but creaks on every move. 

We found the pool a little on the chilly side, we did speak to the maintenence man who said none of the pools he deals with are heated but I think this one may be a little colder because its part covered, it was usable and some days much better then others.  The temp was around 30 while we were there 2nd - 9th July 2011 on hotter days I suspect it would be very nice.

We did not have air conditioning while we were there, I would recommend taking it because we did have trouble sleeping a few of the hotter nights, this is where a quick pre-bed dip in the pool was rather nice :-)

TV provides a few channels to watch in English,  mostly sport or music, the computer is available with internet access which we found extremely helpful.

Our only serious gripe was with the rep who delivered our car keys, not the best, we were left with the wrong car and a part flat tyre.  I struggled to get hold of her the day after when the tyre went completely flat which was a Sunday and only got the replacement on Monday once the office was open, so lost a day and half of car.  They have since covered our taxi cost for Sunday and the end result it was not a major blow to our holiday week.

We visited 5 seaside locations and ate at several restaurants, all were good, the best beach was San Blas Bay no hotels or resturants or toilets just some parasol hire and a chap selling hot dogs, crisps &amp; drinks under tar polling, its surrounded by lemon trees and small farm plots then cliffs.  It is a bit of a walk down but you can pay for a jeep ride back up, you park along a track at the top.  Ramla is also a nice beach.

Hope that is of help, we did very much enjoy our stay and with a few minor improvements as mentioned a good location to explore the Island.

This was our third stay on Gozo, Farmhouse in a good central location on island. 
Have stayed in Xaghra on one of our previous holidays and enjoyed our stay there once again, so knew where to go, where to eat in the area and on the island, distances between towns, villages, etc.
Farmhouse clean, comfortable, in quiet location, pool area large enough for our requirements.
All transfers between airport and farmhouse excellent and representative that met us, very professional.
All of party thoroughly enjoyed their holiday once again.
Hope to return next year.

I was disappointed in the plumbing side of the
building, as every cistern in the villa the sython
in the toilet hit the top when you flushed them.
i know that this is not correct as i used to be a
plumber many years ago.

House was full of character and spacious but would be difficult with small children or the infirm.Kitchen not well equipped, e.g. no oven ware, few sharp knives, no barbecue tools. Suggest house should have a visitors book, so guests can hand on tips,and an information folder containing useful local information and instruction leaflets. We could only find one English language TV channel, so a DVD player would be useful. 
Our hire car had no power steering (hard work!), a worrying front wheel noise and no rear seat belts. So not really up the standard we would have expected.
Pick up arrangements went smoothly and local staff were helpful.Any problems / queries were dealt with quickly. The pool was checked and towels, etc changed during our stay.

Dar Guzeppa Farmhouse

We stayed at Dar Guzeppa in July 2009 and had an excellent holiday. The Farm House is well equipped and clean. We did have a problem with one of the air conditioning units in one of the bedrooms, but the owner, Benny, was great in getting it fixed and sorted for us and thanks for the wine!
Our party consisted of 4 adults and one child, there was more than enough space for us all.

The airport transfers were well organised - all in all no complaints whatsoever and we will definitely be returning.

The property was as described.  We found it nice and clean on arrival.  Transfers and Hire Car were good and it was a very easy start to the holiday.  We enjoyed the village, it has small supermarket, nice restaurant and good hairdresser!  
Agree with previous comments about the dish washer.  The water pressure is very low throughout the house, so the dishwasher does not work properly, we only used the bottom shelf.  Shower heads need to be cleaned so that the showers are adequate.  The washing machine appears to be working, but the thermostat is broken so it boiled our clothes and removed the colour.  We reported this to Xlendi Tourist Services, but it was not repaired during our stay.  The property could be improved by some basic maintenance.
Rubbish should be left at the end of the lane, not outside the door, as we had been told.  Better information would help not to upset the neighbours!  An information book in the property would help.
Overall we had an excellent holiday, Thank you.

The farmhouse its self was nice, but the position was terrible in the description it said the farnhouse was in a very quiet area, this description is very wrong, the farmhouse is on a very busy junction on one of the main roads to victoria its was very noisey with cars,trucks and big lorrys going past all day with only a wall seperating the pool area from the road.Apart from that the  Xlendi tourist company was fantastic from the pick up at the airport to the ferry crossing pick up  (plus the ferry ticket and keys) was first class they also managed to move us to another villa in a very quite area( and this time it was very quite). I would not recommend this villa if you are looking for a quite holiday.

Ta' Marinton Farmhouse

Property was superb, BUT we were thouroghly disappointed by the fact we only received transport for 7 people when when had booked for 10.
This meant we had to hire a 2nd vehicle incurring extra expense re. hire charge, petrol, ferry fares etc and the only other person with a driving licence in their possesion was an inexperienced driver who was very nervous about driving on the poor roads in the islands.
This has been taken up with Xlendi Tourism and Villa rentals who both blame each other.

If we had been advised beforehand it would have been an easier pill to follow

Razzett tan-Nannu Farmhouse

My wife and I spent 12 days in this property in August 2007 and were very happy with the standard of accommodation.  The best bits about the property were the pool to the rear and the number of bath/shower rooms.  

The property is ideal for couples wanting a quiet getaway or for a family - the two twin bedrooms would be great for kids.

The village of Xaghra is only a ten minute walk away and is very picturesque with a couple of good restaurants in the main square.

Also, the transfers to and from the airport which were included in the price were well managed and comfortable.

All in all a very pleasant stay.
