Modern Newly Build Sliema Penthouse No 5 near St Julian's and Valletta. Minutes away from English Schools, the beach, shops, super markets, night life in St Julian's and Paceville.

It’s on the third floor with Lift,
There are 2 bedrooms.1 double bedroom with ceiling fan and air condition and another bedroom with 2 bunk beds and 1 single bed.
Open plan Kitchen / dining / living room with sofa that can open into a bed. Sleeps another 2 person. There is Satellite T.V. with air conditioner and Wi-Fi internet on request.
Bathroom with shower and with solar system for free hot water.
There are 2 Terraces. The 2 terrace are private used only by you.
On the second terrace next to the kitchen there is a table with chairs and surrounding plants.
The penthouse is 8 minutes walk to the front promenade for shopping, you can have nice walks, nice restaurants to eat and drink . Its 8 min walk to Balluta beach, where you can swim and relax. It’s a 8 min walk to the Independence Garden, where you can rest, read and chat, and there are swings for children. Then its 20 minutes walk to Paceville St, Julian’s where Restaurants, Bars and night life will stay open till early mornings.

It’s fully furnished with, microwave, gas oven and hob, fridge, and freezer, solar for hot water, washing machine, Satellite, Smart T.V. and internet etc.

Sleeps 5 persons and another 2 on sofa-bed

You will have 40 units free of electricity.
When you exceed it you need to pay 35c per unit.

Wireless Internet is available on request at €15 for 1 week

Breakage Deposit of € 200 must be paid before entering the apartment. The breakage deposit will be given back before you leave the penthouse when returning the key and if damage had not been done to the penthouse and returning it clean as you found it.

Malta is an archipelago in the central Mediterranean Sea (in its eastern basin), some 93 km south of the Italian island of Sicily across the Malta Channel east of Tunisia and north of Libya in Africa. Only the three largest islands Malta Island (Malta), Gozo, and Comino (Kemmuna) are inhabited. The smaller islands, such as Filfla, Cominotto and the Islands of St. Paul are uninhabited. Numerous bays along the indented coastline of the islands provide good harbours. The archipelago itself lies on the edge of the African tectonic plate, as it borders with the Eurasian plate. The landscape is characterised by low hills with terraced fields. The highest point is at Ta Dmejrek on Malta Island at 253 metres (830 ft) near Dingli. Although there are some small rivers at times of high rainfall, there are no permanent rivers or lakes on Malta. However, some watercourses are found around the island that have fresh water running all year round. Such places are Bahrija, l-Mtahleb and San Martin. Running water in Gozo is found at Lunzjata Valley.

Sliema (or Tas-Sliema) is a town located on the northeast coast of Malta. It is a center for shopping, restaurants and café life. Sliema is also a major commercial and residential area and houses several of Malta's most modern hotels. Sliema, which means peace, comfort, was once a quiet fishing village on the peninsula across Marsamxett Harbour from Valletta, but now Sliema and the coastline up to neighbouring St. Julian's constitutes Malta's main coastal resort.
In 1855 a new church dedicated to Our Lady Star of the Sea "Stella Maris" was built. Around the new church, the small village grew into a town. By 1878, the population grew to an extent that the religious authorities had the Stella Maris Church declared a Parish in its own right and it was separated from that of Birkirkara.
The town began to develop rapidly in the second half of the 19th century and later it became popular as a summer resort for wealthier Valletta residents. Their elegant villas and town houses lined the quiet, inland streets. Various Victorian buildings graced its three kilometre sea promenade which overlooked rugged rocks, farms and even a small sandy beach. The farm was eventually abandoned and in 1990, was transformed into a coastline garden known as Independence Garden.
The town has a considerable number of streets named after British governors or places, such as Norfolk Street, Prince of Wales Road (which was in fact opened by Prince Albert himself when he visited the island), Windsor Terrace, Graham Street, Milner Street and Fort Cambridge among others.

Very nice apartment. Spacious balcony areas, well maintained apartment. Friendly and helpful landlady. Main bedroom and Living room have ceiling fans, also free standing fan available. Is great as a "Base" to explore from. Apartment is on 4th floor so there are some stairs - a lift shaft is there but lift not operational as of September 09. Great location, only a short 5-8 min walk (uphill!) from the main promenade that runs between Sliema and St Julians. Not a "luxury" apartment, but very serviceable and well kept and very good value. Would return.
