This beautiful semi-detached holiday home 2 km from Taglio di Po, inserted in the context of a villa of the '700, is located on a beautiful estate, with shared pool, surrounded by the spectacular scenery of the Po Delta and only 20 km from the sea of Albarella.The 5 hectares of park of the estate, the swimming pool, the private garden in front of the house with table and barbecue, where to spend unforgettable moments of relaxation, are ideal for your holiday. The house is also an excellent starting point for many excursions in the park of the Po Delta (Unesco heritage site). The owners organize excursions by bike, e-bike, horse, canoe, boat, even with a nature guide for birdwatching. The river Po and a small dock near the house, also offer the opportunity to bring your own boat for exciting excursions along the river. Nearby there are stables affiliated with the house, for unforgettable horseback riding on the beach of Albarella, where there is also a golf course. The house is on two floors connected by a steep wooden staircase. In the main villa you can book breakfast and dinner, or organize dinners, family gatherings, weddings (also available is a private chapel) and events in a large dining room. The property organizes a wine and oil tasting in its estate on the Euganean hills, but it is also possible to buy cheese, yoghurt and cold cuts on site. The house is suitable for those who like to spend a holiday in contact with nature, but at the same time wish a convenient base to visit the most beautiful places in the regions Veneto and Emilia Romagna: Venice and the islands of the lagoon can be visited also with the boat starting from nearby Chioggia (30 km); Padua (70 km) with the basilica; Ferrara (60 km) with the splendid Renaissance castle; or the entire Veneto-Emilia coast with Comacchio, the Ferrara beaches up to the splendid Ravenna with its Byzantine churches. You will receive full details about your booking including directions to the property and a booking voucher that you need to hand over to the property manager when you receive the keys. The exact dimensions will vary from property to property but the agent has specified that bed sizes are as follows:

  • A single bed is typically 70cm to 85 cm wide and 180cm to 190cm deep.
  • A double bed is typically 140cm to 180cm wide and 180cm to 190cm deep.
  • A “grand lit” is a European double bed, suitable for couples, and can be smaller than the usual UK or American doubles. It is typically 130cm wide but in some instances may be wider; it is approximately 180cm to 190cm deep.

A bunk bed is two single beds, one on top of another. Some properties also have pull-out beds, sofa beds and/or bed chairs; in a few properties the bed can be low in a wooden frame on the floor. The beds often have terry cloth sheet mattress protectors to protect the mattresses; please use them with the bed linen.

Some properties may have a loft as a bedroom: this is usually an open room at the top of the house with sloping walls and mattresses on a low bed or on the floor itself. You need to climb a ladder to reach this room. Lofts are very popular with children but may not be suitable for adults or elderly guests.
