Villa overview - owner's description

This Beautiful Italian villa with annex is set in a panoramic position near the beautiful city of Arezzo. The grounds are particularly beautiful with olive groves surrounded by the rolling hills this part of Italy is famous for.The property has been restored with great care and has been nicely decorated. This property is ideal for larger families or groups of friends as the annex will offer an extra level of privacy and independence. In total there are 7 bedrooms ( two of which are located in the annexe) and seven bathrooms (two in the annexe) sleeping a total of 14 guests very comfortably.The garden round the properties are very well looked after as is the beautiful pool area (heated). There is also a beautiful covered terrace by the pool that was perfect to relax or enjoy a bite to eat without being in the harsh summer sun. Sports enthusiasts will be delighted to hear there is a tennis court a mere 200m from the property and can be use without an additional costTwo baby beds available. Included in the price: domestic help (12 hrs./week). Upon request at time of booking and at an additional cost a private chef for breakfasts, dinners and cooking lessons can be arranged. Places of interest include: 4 km Subbiano, 18 km Arezzo, 35 km Caprese Michelangelo, 48 km Cortona, 70 km Florence. 15 km golf course. It is possible to book the villa for 10 sleeping places (See ITA607: in this case the annex will not be at guests' disposal).

You will receive full details about your booking including directions to the property and a booking voucher that you need to hand over to the property manager when you receive the keys. The exact dimensions will vary from property to property but the agent has specified that bed sizes are as follows:

  • A single bed is typically 70cm to 85 cm wide and 180cm to 190cm deep.
  • A double bed is typically 140cm to 180cm wide and 180cm to 190cm deep.
  • A “grand lit” is a European double bed, suitable for couples, and can be smaller than the usual UK or American doubles. It is typically 130cm wide but in some instances may be wider; it is approximately 180cm to 190cm deep.

A bunk bed is two single beds, one on top of another. Some properties also have pull-out beds, sofa beds and/or bed chairs; in a few properties the bed can be low in a wooden frame on the floor. The beds often have terry cloth sheet mattress protectors to protect the mattresses; please use them with the bed linen.

Some properties may have a loft as a bedroom: this is usually an open room at the top of the house with sloping walls and mattresses on a low bed or on the floor itself. You need to climb a ladder to reach this room. Lofts are very popular with children but may not be suitable for adults or elderly guests.
