An excellent place to stay in Sicily. Villa Aziz is located in Donnalucata, Sicily. This vacation villa is air-conditioned and sleeps my whole family of 11 people, with 5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, with a private swimming pool and sea views. This is walking distance to the supermarket which was very handy This villa: well-designed, appointed, spacious, quiet, and in a superb location. Additionally, the owner is very attentive, conscientious, and dedicated to making your stay a first-class experience. We Highly recommend This highly appointed villa.

Water is lukewarm to cold and varies when having a shower, which is not too bad when it’s hot. The water is non potable so lots of bottled water. Any problems and the response is personal and quick. (Ie when your youngest grandson turns the water pump off at the fuse box ) We are all connected or have been with food and kitchens and probably expect unrealistic things in the way of sharp knives etc.

From the moment we arrived and were greeted by Giuliana, the owner we could not have asked for more. The location of the property is stunning, situated high above the beach with panoramic views along the coastline. The property itself is well appointed with four bedrooms, two on the ground floor, ideal for either young or more mature, two on the first floor. There is plenty of seating in different areas, full sun, fully shade, or partial shade depending on your requirements. Giuliana made our stay very special, she was always available with advice on sites to visit, location of supermarkets, both in Porto Palo and in the larger nearby town of Menfi. She was also able to give us a steer on the local restaurants, again both in Porto Palo and in Menfi as to which were the better ones and which were best avoided, together with an indication of cost. Whilst Giuliana told us to use her home as our own, we did so with respect, which was reflected in the way we were treated by the owners. I speak very little Italian, Giuliana speaks a little more English, but between us, and with the help of Google Translate, we have had a wonderful holiday, which I will look back on for many years with fond memories. I really can't see how our experience could have been improved upon.

Sicily’s bewitching beauty is enough to leave anyone with a thirst to discover more. The rugged landscape, sparkling waters and ancient Byzantine architecture will transport you to another world filled with historical gems and charming backstreets, leading to delectable, Mediterranean restaurants, serving culinary masterpieces, each handcrafted from the bountiful wealth of ingredients grown on the island. The smoking form of Mount Etna is smouldering away in the distance as you fly into Catania, while bones of those remembered in ancient history, reside under the land of the Cyclops. For those who have never ventured to the Mediterranean sea’s largest island, most of this may sound like something from a fantasy novel, never fear no matter what you’re looking for Sicily can provide it, here’re a few suggestions that’ll help you plan your next adventure to this Italian island.
