The location is ideal to explore the nearby beaches, such as: Bocca di Magra (16 km), Ameglia (18 km) and Marinella di Sarzana (12km). From the village you can take the train to Cinque Terre. Unmissable is Portovenere (26 km), the 'Pearl of Liguria'. The Regional Park of Montemarcello (20 km) is an absolute ?must? for the lovers of trekking and offers an incredible view, as well as the Park of the Apuan Alps with Colonnata (34 km), famous for the bacon ?Lardo di Colonnata? For the lovers of cities there is the ancient port city of La Spezia at 12 km. To Lucca with imposing intact city walls is 69 km. On the spot you can buy the good Ligurian olive oil. The last 200 m of the access road are not asphalted. Attention: from the house you can hear the sound of a highway 150 m away as the crow flies and hidden by vegetation.
