Apartment located on the first and second floor in a farmhouse, with independent access via an external staircase and with a small terrace of 2 sqm. The farmhouse is part of a small complex that also includes a small and ancient restored and inhabited mill. Located in the middle of the Pisan countryside among rolling hills, 65 m. above sea level. It is about 30 km from Pisa, 45 km from Volterra, 60 km from Lucca and 80 km from Florence. Services at: 3 km supply stores, of all kinds, a tennis court and a restaurant, 10 km a riding school; 12 km public outdoor pool, 15 km supermarket, 18 km public indoor pool, 25 km a golf course and both free and equipped beaches. View of the countryside and low, tree-lined and cultivated hills that convey a deep sense of peace and tranquility, a very quiet area. The property has about 5,000 square meters of land around the house, lawn and natural land with trees and shrubs, crossed by the stream that fed the mill, all available to the guest in common with the owner; reserved for guests a space of about 100 square meters in the garden, equipped with chairs, deck chairs, table, umbrella, gazebo and barbecue. Parking for 2 uncovered parking spaces, in the property. The access road in a dirt road to the house does not present any difficulty. Possibility of walks in the countryside nearby and to keep pets. First floor: entrance from a small terrace in the living room with fireplace and TV; kitchen equipped with oven, freezer and TV. Second floor with access via internal staircase and all the attic high and completely habitable: hallway; double room; room with 2 beds, bathroom with tub. Rustic furniture of good quality, terracotta or single fired floors, comfortable. Highchair for children included in the price. The owner offers a small refreshment as a welcome.

  • A single bed is typically 70cm to 85 cm wide and 180cm to 190cm deep.
  • A double bed is typically 140cm to 180cm wide and 180cm to 190cm deep.
  • A “grand lit” is a European double bed, suitable for couples, and can be smaller than the usual UK or American doubles. It is typically 130cm wide but in some instances may be wider; it is approximately 180cm to 190cm deep.

A bunk bed is two single beds, one on top of another. Some properties also have pull-out beds, sofa beds and/or bed chairs; in a few properties the bed can be low in a wooden frame on the floor. The beds often have terry cloth sheet mattress protectors to protect the mattresses; please use them with the bed linen.

Some properties may have a loft as a bedroom: this is usually an open room at the top of the house with sloping walls and mattresses on a low bed or on the floor itself.
