Charming apartment in an ancient castle from the 14th Century, which has been carefully restored, preserving original architectural features such as exposed beams, vaulted ceilings and terracotta floors. Nice common room with restored original frescoes. Surrounded by a beautiful common park, the castle is located in the province of Biella, in the north of Piedmont, in a strategic location, which combines an elegant residence with a wide range of entertainment facilities: golf courses, horseback riding, hiking, mountain biking, skiing, and climbing. In addition, the city of Turin, with its museums and royal residences, the Lake Maggiore and Lake Orta, the Gran Paradiso National Park are within easy reach. The Biella Alps are not far away, ideal for trekking and Nordic walking lovers. Shopping outlets with renowned fashion brands are about 1 km. Wi-fi internet. The apartment is spread over two levels: on the entrance floor there are a double bedroom and a bathroom with massage shower, on the open upper floor there are a living/ dining room with panoramic windows and a double sofa bed (160 cm), a small study (passage room) and a bathroom with shower.   • A single bed is typically 70cm to 85 cm wide and 180cm to 190cm deep.
  • A double bed is typically 140cm to 180cm wide and 180cm to 190cm deep.
  • A “grand lit” is a European double bed, suitable for couples, and can be smaller than the usual UK or American doubles. It is typically 130cm wide but in some instances may be wider; it is approximately 180cm to 190cm deep.

A bunk bed is two single beds, one on top of another. Some properties also have pull-out beds, sofa beds and/or bed chairs; in a few properties the bed can be low in a wooden frame on the floor. The beds often have terry cloth sheet mattress protectors to protect the mattresses; please use them with the bed linen.

Some properties may have a loft as a bedroom: this is usually an open room at the top of the house with sloping walls and mattresses on a low bed or on the floor itself. You need to climb a ladder to reach this room. Lofts are very popular with children but may not be suitable for adults or elderly guests.

If a property has an annexe then it will typically be a building attached to the main property or a small self-contained building. Annexes often have no central heating.
