These comfortable apartments in a holiday resort with 28 dwelling units are located in Pietra Ligure, about 200 metres from the wide sandy beaches between Riviera del Palme and Riviera del Fiori. The apartments are in a cosy location, close to shops and restaurants. Lifts, swimming pool, bike room and a play room for children are available. All the apartments have a living room with sofa bed, bedrooms with double bed (with additional single bed or bunk bed) and a bathroom. From the living room, you can access the terrace overlooking the sea, the pool or the beautiful Borgo Verezzi. This residence is ideal for families and offers an Olympic swimming pool (with lifeguard), play equipment for children, bike room (you can also take the bicycles on the terrace) and bike rentals. This location is not just ideal for visiting the beautiful beaches of Riviera Del Fiori, but also to try the longest cycling trail of Europe (25 km) that connects Sanremo with San Lorenzo al Mare (50 km). Do visit the monument of whales in Bergeggi (26 km) as well as Borgio Verezzi with its caves and one of the most beautiful old towns of Italy (2.9 km). Other tourist destinations are Triora, the village of witches (96 km away), the sophisticated city of Alassio with its typical Budelli (26 km), the ancient maritime town of Noli (17 km), Varigotti with its beautiful old town of Saracen (15 km) and Capo Noli, a historical battle site, where the battle of Admiral Nelson was fought. Additionally, Savona with its wonderful tourist harbour is located 38.4 km away from here. Trips to enjoy climbing in Toirano on Placca dell’artista (variable length between 25 and 30 metres) are available for the guests. To reach the cliffs, you need to pass through the forlorn caves with artworks of the famous mountaineer Mahler Nebiolo. Enjoy scenic climbing in Capo Noli, where the trails start a few metres above sea level. Wonderful mountain biking tours are organised for residents, for instance, to the old Via del Ferro (Iron Road), from where you can enjoy a breath-taking, beautiful panoramic view downhill. Another highlight is the mountain biking competition called 24 ore di Finale (about 40 km). Visit the caves Fate (fairy caves), which is a very important spot because of its archaeological finds. For sailors, there is an option to take a tour to the island of Gallinara, where you can snorkel in the clearest waters. For people who love canyoneering, trekking and fit walking, a visit to the park of Beigua is recommended. This park is a part of UNESCO’s world heritage along with Rio Lerca and Prialunga in the group of Beigua or Rio di Santa Lucia in Valley of Arroscia. Art lovers must visit Genoa (79 km) and its famous old town with palaces. Cooking classes (Ligurian specialities such as pesto) or cake designing classes can be arranged on the spot on request. Parking is available on request at a cost of 7 Euros per day in summer. Air conditioning is optional and chargeable and must be paid on site. The pictures provide a good example. When do I receive directions to the apartment and key collection information?
Directions and details on how to collect the keys will be emailed to you after you have paid for the booking in full. You will receive full details about your booking including directions to the property and a booking voucher that you need to hand over to the property manager when you receive the keys. In some instances you may need to collect the keys from the property manager’s office or some other location which is not the actual property you have booked to stay in. Please note that the agent provides us with the GPS co-ordinates in the travel directions and we communicate these to you; you should contact the property manager if these are unclear.
Bed sizes / bedrooms
The exact dimensions will vary from property to property but the agent has specified that bed sizes are as follows:
- A single bed is typically 70cm to 85 cm wide and 180cm to 190cm deep.
- A double bed is typically 140cm to 180cm wide and 180cm to 190cm deep.
- A “grand lit” is a European double bed, suitable for couples, and can be smaller than the usual UK or American doubles. It is typically 130cm wide but in some instances may be wider; it is approximately 180cm to 190cm deep.
A bunk bed is two single beds, one on top of another. Some properties also have pull-out beds, sofa beds and/or bed chairs; in a few properties the bed can be low in a wooden frame on the floor. The beds often have terry cloth sheet mattress protectors to protect the mattresses; please use them with the bed linen.
Some properties may have a loft as a bedroom: this is usually an open room at the top of the house with sloping walls and mattresses on a low bed or on the floor itself. You need to climb a ladder to reach this room. Lofts are very popular with children but may not be suitable for adults or elderly guests.
If a property has an annexe then it will typically be a building attached to the main property or a small self-contained building. Annexes often have no central heating.
Please note that bedrooms in holiday rentals are usually not that large; you should refer to the floor plan to get a sense of size.
