Villa overview - owner's description

Sitting high on a hill this charming very spacious 4 bedroom villa offers spectacular, panoramic views of the Adriatic Coast, mountains, cities and country side and all with close proximity to everything that you may need for both a relaxing and active experience. For a list of things to see and do in the surrounding area.

The beach, the elegant Pescara shopping district, dining and entertainment is only 10 minutes away and within a 30 minute drive you will find yourself in the mountains where you can ski in winter and hike in the summer. Historic villages to explore are also close by. Pescara Airport is also only a 15 minute drive away.

The area is renowned for its Montepulciano D’Abruzzo Wine, the Adriatic Coast line with its long stretch of beach, wonderful fresh cuisine, shopping, charming nearby villages, the mountain ranges and warm friendly people!

With only a short flight away from London, Paris, Berlin, Frankfurt and other key European and Italian cities you land at Pescara airport and with a 20 minute drive from the airport you will arrive at the 600Sqm villa that sits on its own 50,000Sqm private land.

Villa Adriatica
Surrounded by dramatic scenery, privacy, wonderful beauty, fresh air, Villa Adriatica is close proximity to vast stretches of beaches, great Italian shopping, nightlife and conveniently close to the Pescara airport and Pescara train station. For a list of things to see and do in the surrounding area.

The 500 square meter villa is surrounded by abundant organic fruit and olive trees. It has a unique, elegant, and fresh design reflecting its own creativity – something that you will not find anywhere else in Pescara!

The interior is very spacious with high ceilings, yet is inviting and cozy and full of natural light. The ground floor consists of 4 spacious bedrooms: 1 large master bedroom with an en suite Jacuzzi bathroom and dressing room as well as 3 other bedrooms each with their own en suite bathroom.

The large living room and dining room overlooks wonderful views, and the outside terrace provides a large space to experience and enjoy meals “al fresco”. The kitchen is fully equipped for all your cooking needs. The underground floor has ample indoor parking

Things to Do
The centre of Pescara, with its designer and high street shops, is a 10-minute drive from the villa and there are also some best kept secrets where you can purchase designer fashion from designer factory outlets at heavily discounted prices. The beach is also a 10 minutes drive away, and if you like you can take a day trip and explore the islands of Isole Tremiti. For a list of things to see and do in the surrounding area.

Small charming characteristic towns, open markets and local festivals in the nearby area are ideal for day trips to explore. And in the evenings, the beach cafes and the old town of Pescara Porto transform themselves into vibrant night spots. Or if you like you can even catch a bus, train or drive on the “Auto Strada” to Rome for a day trip which takes only around 2 hours to get there!

The mountain range also known as "La Bella Dormentata" (The Sleeping Beauty) is 40 mins away and can be seen from the villa and Abruzzos extensive park system includes natural beauty akin to national parks in the western United States. Within Abruzzos parks lie some of Italys most beautiful ancient hill towns rivaling those of Tuscany and Umbria.

Winter Sports

The region has 15 ski resorts with 368 km of runs in 172 different ski tracks, all within a drive away. The most popular resorts are Roccaraso, Campo Felice, Campo Imperatore. Located on the highest altitudes of the Apennines, these ski areas are at heights nearly comparable to many resorts in the Alps. Because of their proximity to the Adriatic and winter precipitation patterns, they often have more snow than the Alps. Abruzzo also is popular for cross country skiing, especially on the high plain of Campo Imperatore in the Gran Sasso as well as the Piana Grande in the Majella.

Let us know if you have any other questions and we will be more than happy to help you have a great experience at Villa Adriatica.

We stayed at the Villa for over a week and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Communication was excellent, the villa is as advertised, there is a high standard of cleanliness and the views are incredible. The only minor issue was that the shower head in one of the bathrooms was not able to be attached to the wall and had to be hand held. We would highly recommend this villa.

Family from Schwedelbach, Germany Oct 2017

Outstanding, very large villa. We absolutely loved the house and recommend it for larger groups that wish to travel together. We had a beautiful welcome basket waiting for us upon arrival and the communication with the owner was excellent.
You will definitely need a car when renting this villa as you can not go anywhere by foot unless you are willing to walk on the narrow country roads on which cars are driving (there is no sidewalk).
Absolutely recommend this accommodation!

Family from Tucson, USA Sep 2017

The vila exceeded all expectations. It was spacious, immaculately clean, comfortable and well appointed. The surrounding area is beautiful. The owners and property managers were readily accessible to answer all questions. My only regret was that we weren't staying for a longer period of time. You will not be disappointed if you chose to stay st this villa.

Large Group from Haverfordwest,, United Kingdom Jul 2017

We spent 15 nights at Villa Adriatica and it was a truly memorable stay. We know the area as we have relatives in Montesilvano Spiaggia but this was our first time in Colle but it will not be our last. The village of Colle is a hidden gem.
The villa is superb with everything we needed, our only criticism was the lack of a proper shower in the master bedroom. Having to get into the spa bath for each shower was a bit of a chore.
Mr and Mrs Pergolari could not have been more helpful and the welcome pack of groceries, wine etc was excellent.
Overall a five star villa and stay.

Family from Verona, USA May 2017

I cannot put to words how lovely not only the villa was, but the owner and the two adorable Italian caretakers that assisted us.

Upon arrival, after meeting the two lovely caretakers we arrived at the villa and welcomed by a beautiful welcome basket, it immediately felt like home. Having coffee on the terrace, and after dinner cocktails with the beautiful views was a memory my family will treasure forever.

I would HIGHLY recommend this property to anyone with a group or for a family gathering. We had 5 adults, and we all had spacious accommodations (4 bedrooms, 4 beautiful bathrooms). I would highly suggest you have a car if staying here.

Thank you Daniela for sharing your beautiful villa with us.
