This ancient and charming country house is situated at a short distance from Ostuni and just a few minutes from the sea. It is set in the middle of a countryside which is made up of red soil, outlined by dry–stone walls, and dotted by olive trees.
It is a suited place to spend a rewarding holiday in contact with nature in an outstandingly interesting tourist region.
The building is made of local stone and fossile tophus (on the walls you can actually see various fossil moulds !).
The reconstruction works have taken care to preserve and enhance the original architecture.
Villa Primavera has a living room with a brickwork kitchenette, a bedroom, a bathroom, a gazebo with a garden furniture and barbecue facilities.
The furniture has been chosen carefully paying attention to the details, the rooms are comfortable and cosy, they have been outfitted with hand - made solid wood furniture, wrought iron furnishings, exquisite window treatments.
Villa Primavera is set in the peace and quiet of nature overlooking olive groves and fruit orchards.

To visit Ostuni, the so-called “Città Bianca” (White City), is an unforgettable experience.
You go up towards the historical centre through a succession of narrow, winding streets made of white houses pressed together, painted windows, arches and steps. We suggest you take your time along the lanes and around the crafts shops: all of a sudden just around a corner you will behold the overwhelming view of the valley and the sea.
The 15th century cathedral represents a feat of the local stone, it has a splendid façade and an imposing 24 ray rose window.
Music festivals and many typical restaurants and bars where you can listen to live music or savour delicious local dishes brighten the night life. You can find discos along the coast. The cuisine in this area is genuine and full of inventive. Flavours from the vegetable garden mix with the aroma of seafood, enhanced by an extraordinary olive oil and accompanied by tasty cheeses, “taralli”, “friselle” and generous, rich wines.

The Region
This is a land blessed by the sun, plentiful in Nature, Art and History.
You can enjoy the sea or take unusual walks in the quest of caves, cathedrals, castles, rupestrian settlements, nature reserves.
The karsic caves of Castellana, the archaeological sites of Egnazia, Castel del Monte, and Valle d’Itria, the ceramics of Grottaglie, the nature reserve of Torre Guaceto (where migratory birds stop to rest and reproduce), the Trulli of Alberobello, Lecce whose historical centre is famous for its exquisite baroque, are all fantastic destinations for a one day outing.
The sea is about 15 km away and there are both white, sandy beaches and rocky stony beaches. Some of the beaches are equipped with clubs, and offer facilities, others are public beaches. The crystal blue sea is excellent for snorkeling and diving.

Check in and Out
Value for money
Although it is a very basic one bedroom unit it is nevertheless spacious enough for 2 people. The kitchen/dining room, which also had a sofa bed might be a bit cramped if 4 people were staying there but if eating out or alfresco would not be a problem. The location is quite good for exploring the area and is within a short distance of a number of towns. The check in and out was well handled.
Great property, fully equipped and beautifully furnished in an ideal location to explore Ostuni and the surrounding area. The garden is a fabulous space to relax, and the abundance of fruit trees, including fig and peach trees, was a treat! The property is equipped with a great BBQ and patio areas too, ideal for dining al fresco.
The property was exactly what we were looking for and exceeded our expectations in both location and facilities within the property. It is in a beautiful location, set amongst its own olive grove in an idyllic location. The owners were very helpful and welcoming. I would recommend this property to anyone who wishes to explore further this unspoilt area of puglia.
The owners and their agent were very friendly and welcoming. There was a minor problem which had occurred just prior to our arrival, and they all went out of their way to solve it and to ensure our satisfaction and comfort. The property is pleasantly situated, and has secure parking facilities. The internet description and photos give an accurate impression of the property. It is situated about seven kilometres out of Ostuni.

About the owner
We are two brothers, Alessandro and Gianluca, we love our land and its rural landscape, we travel on business. On business, we go often to confortable, but joyless and all equal hotels. Traveling we wish to be lodged in more genuine and welcoming places, even away from the traffic and from the frenzy of the towns. We think that travelling is not limited to watch around, like to look at a shop-window, we think that the best beginning of whatever trip is to be welcomed in a typical home of the region. ViviVerde comes up from these ideas, it started from the conviction that an alternative reception is possible. We renovated and furnished this household thinking over what we would like to meet and how we would like to be welcomed. ViviVerde offers a simple but genuine reception in the natural context lived by our people up to a few decades ago. We love the pure and genuine things, the strenght of the big olive groves, our red soil, the architecture of the stone, the starry sky that we had forgotten. Gianluca & Alessandro
