Vacation apartment in a resort in Muggia, a small medieval village just 10 km from Trieste. The communal pool, open from late May to mid-September, is available for a fee. In the oldest part of Muggia is the Archaeological Park of Muggia Vecchia with the church of Santa Maria Assunta, whose construction dates back to the 10th century. In the village you can also admire the remains of the 14th century Muggia Castle. A curiosity: the inhabitants of the village used the castle stones to build their own houses. The strategic location of the resort allows you to organize beautiful excursions in the surrounding area. Only 10 km away is the city of Trieste, rich in history and monuments and which during the Austro-Hungarian era was the favorite city of many writers such as James Joyce and the famous psychologist Sigmund Freud. Only 10 km from here is Slovenia with its small but rich coastline. The popular towns of Portoroz, Piran and Isola also await you. Only 32 km from here is Croatia with its enchanting beaches and crystal clear sea, Mediterranean gastronomy and many excursion destinations.
