Villa Poggio

The villa consists of three separate units decorated in easy country style, and is surrounded by a two hectare garden with meadows and olive trees. Children can play freely here, by the pool, in the garden, or in the natural forest of ash, oaks and old cypresses.

Inside the villa, recently uncovered frescoes speak to the history of the home. Here you'll you reconnect with friends and family over unforgettable food and wine (Paola, the owner, recommends you try the olive oil that is produced on-site.) There's space for all to dine together on the terrace, or in the dining room of the main house. The impressive chef's kitchen makes feeding a crowd a cinch - even better if you arrange catered meals.

The Main House
Ground floor
The ground floor offers a large kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, oven, washing machine and kitchen utensils. There is a charming, dining room and lounge with large fireplace, satellite TV and internet. Guests can relax in the comfortable surroundings and enjoy the stunning views. There are two double bedrooms and one twin bedroom, each with its own en suite bathroom. One of which is perfect for the elderly or disabled with easy access and a large bathroom.
First floor
The first floor has 5 bedrooms which all have private en suite bathroom. There are 3 twin bedrooms and 2 double bedroom suites. The suites offer double bedrooms, a living room with double sofa bed, bathroom and shower. There is also access to a terrace from this floor.
Cottage
There is a small cottage located next to the main building perfect for a couple. The cottage contains a double bedroom with satellite TV, bathroom, shower, kitchen and a porch. It offers easy access ideal for the disabled or elderly.

Lucignano is an ancient village in southern Tuscany located at the top of a gentle hill in Val di Chiana. It borders the provinces of Arezzo and Siena, and it represents one of the most extraordinary examples of a medieval town with its concentric elliptical ring roads.
