Characteristic holiday apartment in Maranzanis, an ancient, typical Carnic hamlet in the district of Comeglians. Apartment with a beautiful view of the hamlet Manzanaris and the entire landscape of the Val di Gorto valley. From the bedrooms a spacious balcony overlooking the "bearc", a green outdoor area with fruit trees. In winter the location is ideal for those who love the mountains and winter sports, as the nearest ski lift of Monte Zoncolan is about 5 km away. Here, you can run cross-country ski runs as well as downhill ski on the 27 km of slopes and there is also an area for freestyle skiing. In Paluzza, 15 km away, there is a 10 km long cross-country ski run. In the summer you should definitely drive onto the 30 km long panoramic road "Panoramica delle Vette" above the mountain group Coglians, which can reach up to 2,000 m asl. The parking lot is located at the meeting point for the key delivery, about 500 m from the apartment. IFM010, IFM011, IFM012, IFM013 and IFM015 are located in the same building. In the surroundings there are a lot of signposted hiking trails leading up to the alpine pastures and small mountain lakes. Sports enthusiasts can try the most difficult climb of the entire Giro d'Italia (Italian bicycle race tour) or organize mountain bike excursions. In Cercivento there is also a course for hanggliding, and in the surrounding area you can ride, fish or canoe. Within a few kilometers you will find the thermal baths of Arta Terme, whose sulphurous water was popular since the Romans. The Austrian border is not far away (Lienz 77 km), and in Italy is worth visiting Venzone, Udine, Cividale del Friuli (the old town is UNESCO world heritage) and the Adriatic coast where you can admire the wonderful city of Trieste and the historical sites Palmanova and Aquileia. The property offers various price agreements for ski equipment hire, lessons with ski instructors, ski passes, access to the thermal baths and various restaurants. Check-in only between 3 pm - 6 pm.

You will receive full details about your booking including directions to the property and a booking voucher that you need to hand over to the property manager when you receive the keys. The exact dimensions will vary from property to property but the agent has specified that bed sizes are as follows:

  • A single bed is typically 70cm to 85 cm wide and 180cm to 190cm deep.
  • A double bed is typically 140cm to 180cm wide and 180cm to 190cm deep.
  • A “grand lit” is a European double bed, suitable for couples, and can be smaller than the usual UK or American doubles. It is typically 130cm wide but in some instances may be wider; it is approximately 180cm to 190cm deep.

A bunk bed is two single beds, one on top of another. Some properties also have pull-out beds, sofa beds and/or bed chairs; in a few properties the bed can be low in a wooden frame on the floor. The beds often have terry cloth sheet mattress protectors to protect the mattresses; please use them with the bed linen.

Some properties may have a loft as a bedroom: this is usually an open room at the top of the house with sloping walls and mattresses on a low bed or on the floor itself. You need to climb a ladder to reach this room. Lofts are very popular with children but may not be suitable for adults or elderly guests.

If a property has an annexe then it will typically be a building attached to the main property or a small self-contained building. Annexes often have no central heating.
