Characteristic 18th century stone house in the green woods of Artò, a small hamlet of Madonna del Sasso, overlooking Lago d'Orta and a stone's throw from Lake Maggiore. The house is located on the ancient Via Francigena and once hosted Rome pilgrims from the north. There is a spring on the property and the owners occasionally occupy an outbuilding. The house has two floors, kitchen and living room on the ground floor, two bathrooms, one with toilet and sink, one with bathtub and sink and two bedrooms on the second floor. The beautiful outdoor area is shared with the owners and equipped for outdoor dining. At the lake possibility to go hiking, visit museums and ancient palaces, golf and tennis court, kite surfing, wake surfing and skiing in winter on Mottarone. From Orta boats to the nearby island of San Giulio, the so-called ?stone island?, a small jewel of the Middle Ages.
