This beautiful south facing property is a late 18th century rustic farmhouse which has been lovingly restored to maintain the romantic ambience. Private heated pool.
The heated swimming pool on the terrace is designed as a water-feature, with antique fountainhead. It is surrounded by a garden with hedges of holm oak and lavender and has superb panoramic views. The glorious elevated position which allows such stunning vistas from each of its rooms, make this a most sought after property.

Thank you for a wonderful holiday. We arrived late so did not fully appreciate the views until the first morning when I opened the bedroom shutters to a landscape of mist and mountains. We really couldn’t have chosen a more beautiful location. The gardens are perfectly kept and add to the already breathtaking scenery. The villa is amazing, it’s a wonderful combination of grand and snug. We visited Florence, Pisa and Lucca in a week so it’s perfectly located to explore if you can bear to leave the villa.
Staying in this villa for a week was like being in a dream, or a movie. The views, which surround you, are unbelievable. An extra special part of our stay was lying in bed at night and being able to see the lights on in the villages below. In addition, the air felt so light and pleasant, and the fragrance of the gardens only made it more wonderful. The gardens themselves were a joy, and my children enjoyed them in particular. I will never forget making chicken saltimbocca with sage and lemons we picked right outside the door. (And then eating it al fresco on the wonderful terrace).
Other aspects, like comfortable beds, openable shutters, heated towel bars, and a welcome basket further enhanced our stay.
Although this villa is slightly remote from some of the larger sights (Lucca and Pisa) they are still easy for day trips. And we found our week here to be a lovely respite from the crowds and magnificence of Rome and Venice.
In short, we recommend this without reservation. I only wish I could go back!

We feel very privileged to have been the first visitors to Colletto and to have been blessed with such wonderful weather. We were a party of 14 which took some managing. We all totally loved the house & garden and the enchanting village of Coreglia.David Litt & friends (English)We feel so fortunate to have found Colletto. It is everything we hoped it would be and more! The purpose of our vacation was to find a villa in the mountains with a serene & relaxing atmosphere. Colletto has surpassed our greatest expectations. The breathtaking scenery, the beautiful accomodation and extreme hospitality have made our trip very rewarding.Jerry, Brenda & family (American)It's like being invited to ones home, not renting a villa.Lord ConstantineThe setting of Colletto is remarkable. The owners commitment and diligence have produced a unique location for a holiday. Everything is just right.Jim Rawlinson (English)One week was not enough, it's been so relaxing and we will be back. The views are fantastic & I'll always remember sitting on the balcony at night enjoying the silence and a glass of wine. The very warm welcome by the entire village made it even more special.Mark Foster, Therese Alehammer, Neil Willey (Olympic Swimmers)The care, attention to detail and personal touches lavished upon Colletto have made a very special holiday.John Bolam (United Kingdom)What an amazing place tucked up high in the mountains. Views that take your breath away. The house has been lovingly & tastefully restored. A wonderful place to relax & unwind.Jerry & Jenny
It has a wealth of exposed beams, stonework, terracotta floors and period antique furniture, all in keeping with traditional Tuscan style, whilst incorporating the luxury of every modern convenience.
The spacious living area with period stone fireplace has shuttered french doors which open onto a large terracotta terrace. This has garden furniture and a barbeque situated beneath a vine-covered pergola and is an ideal area for al fresco eating
The pool and terrace have stunning mountain views
The pool is closed over the winter season. The swimming pool water temperature cannot be guaranteed due to varying weather conditions.
