We spent a wonderful week at Trullo Bellavista. The villa offers all you could wish for in amenities and its setting is perfect if you want peace and quiet.

The pool is excellent but if you prefer to sit and read and take in the sun its a perfect spot for that too.

The local supermarket is first class and less than half a mile from the Trullo.

If you dont want to eat in youre only a couple of miles from Locorotondo where Tripadvisor can point you to an array of fine dining.

We would recommend Quanto Basta and Bina.

Pino our local contact was a delight and very helpful as was the owner Michel. We struck lucky when we chose this villa.

Just come back from a truly fantastic holiday at Trullo Bellavista. The Trulli has been restored to an extremely high standard and is very well equipped. The villa is down small drive and has panoramic views of the local old town. It secluded yet only a short drive from the shops. The agents looking after the property were also extremely helpful and went out of their way to assist us after Aitalia lost our luggage.

We had an extraordinary time in this trullo and would definitely like to book again, thank you so much for the wonderful location and Marcella thank you for your help.

The property was great and we would book the house again if the opportunity arose. The pool was fabulous too. The setting was away from the busy road into Locorotondo and surrounded by olive trees and vineyards. We loved walking around the area in the morning before the heat set in to see the various Trulli. We loved the region and the town. Everything was very convenient, there was a super market right down the road and the property was a few kms from Locorotondo. We went to the beaches near by and to the other coast, both were really nice. We hope to return to the region some day. The owner was very helpful so were the local agents.

Recently returned from a great holiday in Italy. We stayed in Trullo Bellavista in Locorotondo. My husband and I had the most amazing holiday staying in this beautiful Trullo. The Trullo has been beautifully restored to a very high standard by the owners Mikele and Jennifer. Plenty of internal space, 3 good sized bedrooms and two bathrooms. Idea for families or friends to share. Free Wifi is a great bonus too. It's set in amazing grounds, lots of outside space, featuring a huge swimming pool, fruit trees and lots of outside seating areas for relaxing and al fresco dining. The Trullo is in a very private setting, yet still very close to all local amenities. Locorontondo is a super base for easy access to all routes for touring Puglia. We were met by a very nice chap called Pino on arrival who was very helpful and very informative. Maria came in to clean and change the bedding during our stay and even left us a tray of Italian cookies which were yummy. We had a great holiday and will definitely be booking this Trullo again. We would definitely recommend Trullo Bellavista to anyone looking for a holiday in Puglia. Review Submitted: Oct 7, 2016 Date of Stay: Sep 2016

We had an amazing time at 'Trullo Bella Vista'! We are a family of four and had two weeks here in August 2016. Normally I don't write reviews but this Trullo really does deserve the time. The Trullo sits within a large amount of very private land. The pool is a great size, both in terms of length (12meters I think) and depth (6ft) so made our holiday. Both of our kids spent hours and hours playing in the pool and our son learnt to swim unaided during our holiday, The Trullo is very clean, very well equipped with everything you'll need and obviously comes with the 'real' feel of a Trullo. Internally it is well apportioned and comfortable (the beds are fine...) with two bathrooms (1 bath and 2 showers) and sleeping for 7 comfortably. Outside, the three eating areas all had different pluses and are all lovely places eat. The local town (locorotondo) has everything you want (supermarkets etc) and also a very lovely centre with traditional restaurants in the small alley ways that lead through the town. We also visited alberobello, ostuni and martina franca all of which are lovely, honest, real Italian towns and well worth 1/2 day and few hours at each. Our summary of our holiday at Trullo Bella Vista is that it was great for the soul. We spent time with the kids reading, playing, talking, eating, cooking, chatting and generally just enjoying them. The Trullo is not within walking distance of any restaurants, pubs, cafes, towns so you do need to drive any / everywhere, but for us, this gave us complete privacy and made us unwind as a family. An amazing place for the soul! Enjoy. Review Submitted: Sep 9, 2016 Date of Stay: Aug 2016

We have travelled to Italy many times over the years and Trullo Bella Vista would definitely rate as one of the best villas we have rented in that the generous accommodation is more than matched by the superb pool and outside space. The booking process was very easy- Michele was able to answer questions we had about the trullo prior to booking and we felt confident that it was what we were looking for. We were given contact numbers for Michele and also Pino who acts as the " meet and greet ". Pino was absolutely wonderful, insisting that we call him should we have any problems/ questions about the property or area- and although everything went without a hitch it was very reassuring to know he was there if we needed him. Everything was really well maintained- the pool cleaned twice weekly and the trullo cleaned and bedding/towels changed at the end of our first week . We all enjoyed everything that the trullo had to offer and our teenage children very much appreciated the wi-fi ( as all teenagers do!). The location of the trullo is a real strength- it is 5 minutes drive into Locorontodo which is a very pretty little town with a good array of restaurants , cafes and gelaterias and a little less time to a good sized supermarket with pretty much everything you might need during your stay. Having stayed closer to Ostuni on a previous trip to Puglia we preferred this area and made a few trips to the slightly bigger town of Martina Franca, 20 minutes away by car. Despite being close to the amenities the trullo is in a quiet location away from traffic noise. All in all, a great rental for families with children of any age or friends/couples sharing. We have already decided that should we visit Puglia again in the next few years we wouldn't hesitate to book this trullo. Many thanks again to Michele and Pino for all your help and kindness . I had wondered if Trullo Bella Vista would live up to our expectations as all too often photos and descriptions can be less than accurate. However, it's true to say that this beautiful place far exceeded what we had imagined. We arrived quite late, met by Mikele who had provided a welcoming pack of supplies including much needed wine! The next morning gave us the opportunity to fully appreciate our home for the coming week and our first chance to have a swim in the fantastic pool. We were a family group, age range from 5 to 94 yrs old and the well kept, extensive grounds gave everyone the choice to sit in the shade or bake in the hot sun. Because the weather was so good and we wanted to make the most of our surroundings we didn't venture very far, had we been there for longer then we would have made longer trips. We made the most of the barbecue, sitting out in the courtyard until late every night enjoying the tranquillity. The Trullo, grounds and pool were very clean and well maintained, Mikele and Pino looked after us very well indeed and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Trullo Bella Vista as a wonderful place to stay. We were so sad to leave. Review Submitted: Jun 18, 2016 Date of Stay: May 2016

Dear Michael and Jennifer,We had the most wonderful week at your beautiful trullo. The trullo had been prepared and was spotless for us by Maria and Filippo was very courteous and helpful. My niece adored the pool. All too often holiday homes are not quite as nice as the photos which advertise them but Trullo Bellavista surpassed expectations. Puglia too is a beautiful region, the people friendly, food and wine delicious - and very reasonable. The weather too was superb. We will certainly recommend your holiday home to any friends who expresses an interest in Puglia and hope some day to perhaps return ourselves. Review by Clare Pierotti from Scoland

Thank you so much for a fantastic holiday! Favola! It was very beautiful. The house, gardens and pool were very impressive. Clean, smart, comfortable, stylish and practical. Trully unique. It was very accessible but quiet and very private. All over tans (almost) abound. The weather was perfect. Bright and hot but we were grateful for the odd cloud and a cooling breeze. Also, even without air conditioning the house was always comfortably cool inside. The fig, olive and grapes in abundance; the roses and verbena flowers will all stay in our memories forever. Fillippo and Gianni and Maria looked after us well during our stay. Always available via our mobile phone. Some fantastic restaurants and beaches were recommended that we would never have found ourselves. All in all this was certainly a holiday to remember and recommend to our friends.
