The area offers you countless activities and attractions: In addition to excursions on foot or by bike along the numerous and suggestive paths of the nearby Montemarcello Park, golf lovers will find a golf club about 6 km away, dominating the impressive Gulf of Lerici and its castle, whose profile seems to rise out of the sea. Here you are in one of the most popular and praised areas of the great literature of the 19th and 20th centuries (Byron and Shelley are an example), within the famous "Golfo dei Poeti", a colorful, unique and impressive coastline with its green hills and crystal clear waters. The coast of Versilia, with the famous town of Forte dei Marmi for shopping lovers, can be reached by car in just over an hour. Finally, the spectacular scenery of the villages of the "Cinque Terre", which can be reached both by train from La Spezia and by boat from the small port of Lerici via Portovenere with the archipelago of the island of Palmaria, UNESCO World Heritage Site.
