Beautiful Countryside Villa rental minutes from Rome, Lazio and minutes from Lake Bracciano and historic surroundings

"La Cascina" is situated on a 2 hectare property and overlook a picturesque hilly scenario typical of the northern Rome countryside where sheep and horse grazing are a familiar site. La Cascina surrounds an interior courtyard with orange and lemon trees, and a wading pool. A 120mt (350ft) long road entrance, surrounded by olive trees, leads to the villa.

"The location on the hill provides a pleasant cool breeze on warm summer days"

La Cascina, surrounded by olive trees and built in a quaint Lazium-Tuscan style, consists of handmade terracotta floor tiles, stucco exterior walls with a typical antique Roman red finish and chestnut wooden ceiling beams with intermediate terracotta tiles. The roof is of early century terracotta coned tiles.

The inner courtyard, 400 square meters (3600sq.ft) has a fountain and wading pool (5mt by 2mt by 1.2mt deep) where you can refresh and sun bathe during the warm summer months.

Two, North and South grape pergolas each of about 40 square meters, provide a shaded and relaxing area where you can enjoy your meals. La cascina is also available for rent, and is located in this website as a differente property and therefore price. It can sleep a maximum of 3.

4 out of 4 people recommend staying here

Family from Watford, United Kingdom Aug 2015

To begin with the owners greeted us very warmly, their English was very good which made the whole experience so much easier (Since we spoke little to no Italian). Travelling here with a car is an essential, as the closest supermarket is 4km away from the household. In terms of scenery, I found that 'el lago del Bracciano' was a relaxing and beautiful way to cool down. And after a refreshing swim you can visit the 3 towns strategically placed around the lake, with great restaurants to visit. There are many other areas worthy of a visit, which are conveniently placed inside the brochures found inside the villa. On a final note remember to bring a translator app (If you don't speak Italian).

Thank you for a great experience :)

Extremely helpful owners. Ensured we had everything we needed and would definitely return there again. Would recommend it to anyone. Good links to Rome and local town had everything you need plus a lovely castle. Beautiful large lake nearby and the whole area was very nice with lots to see and do.

From London, United Kingdom Apr 2008

On our trip through Italy we stayed in 3 different Villas for a week each, all booked very easily and efficiently through the Villa Rentals website. They were all pleasant but Villa Cascina was the best value and definitely the most friendly and of them all. Our hosts went out of their way to make sure everything was OK with us and to show us around the local key facilities, without in any way infringing on our space.
The villa had an unusual open plan layout, with the bedroom overlooking the living rooms and was very comfortable. The location is in open coutryside with beautiful wild flowers and there is a resident horse (Aurelia) with whom we made great friends. The perfect antidote to Rome’s frenetic atmosphere and we hope to return one day,

Kevin
