It is nice appartment especially for older people. Equipment is basic but clean (even no glass for wine - it is strange in Sicily). Not so friendly to children - no toys, nothing for the beach as it is usual in similar accommodation in Sicily. The owner's mother speaking Italian only so we did not understand much information. The owner we did not see at all during our stay. Not too much care about us, but we did not asked for. The access to see by house is not good for small children at all but this we expected.Read more
The positive: - Immediate proximity with the sea with access by ladders or pontoons, and beautiful view. -Located almost at the end of the street dead end, so quiet and secure, just surrounded by hotels, and a few minutes from downtown on foot. -Apartment on the ground floor with small terrace, but suddenly with easy access to the sea and the garden. For the terrace with a better view you have to choose another apartment of the residence preferably upstairs. - Simple apartment but equipped as it is necessary. Some elements deserve a refresh, however. -Conform to photos. No unpleasant surprises. -Place private parking in the street, but provide a small car preferably. The least: -The rather bad insulation of the building, especially phonic. The room is almost on the street and you can still hear the few passing vehicles, so be it used or bring his earplugs ... However during our stay the neighbors were quiet. -There is no air conditioning but for us the ceiling fan was very largely sufficient and effective (stay end of September with 28-30 degrees day) -Extras not included in the price (sheets, towels), to pay in cash, but very clearly indicated in the description (no bad surprises in the end). Neutral points: -The bedding looked a little hard or worn at first but finally we slept well on it. -The wifi worked properly. A little weak in the parental room, but in return accessible in the garden. -Lots of storage. Other tips on Giardini-Naxos: -There are also public and private sandy beaches in the center of Naxos and south. Overall clean. It is reached in 10min on foot. -The restaurants in the area are generally quite average. XXX to choose, and again, sometimes it is better to buy local products at the supermarket downtown, make yourself to eat and enjoy on the quiet terrace. -The bus schedules are quite restrictive. Come by car if you are not afraid of local driving (if you have already driven to Paris or Lyon it will go) -There are many German, Russian, English and even American tourists around. - Personally, I'm still trying to find out why Sicilians are kind and adorable becauseRead more
Overall in order for 2 people, for 4 people (family with 2 children) way too tight. The long corridor could only be done by 1 person, the other always had to wait. The kitchen was spartan but useful. Good: washing machine, Wi-Fi. Access to the sea: good Sandy beach: 700 m - a joke: accessible only if you climb over the rocks, otherwise access by car about 3 km. Sandy beach in Naxos: approx. 1.5 km Car parking space: goodRead more
The house is located on the seafront, on the rocky shore, the access to the water is possible through the attached ladder from the neighboring hotel. Very quiet location. The equipment is simple.Read more

We had a very good week at Villa Grasso with 2 children (2 and 5 years old). Very beautiful place, functional house equipment, impeccable bedding and charming and very accommodating reception given our schedules. The situation is ideal to radiate in the area. Only downside: The top bunk bed (which we did not use) has no barrier and there is a risk of falling. Fortunately we were offered a baby cot for our 2 year old.Read more
