Nice holiday apartment (70 m²), just 200 metres from the beautiful Lake Como and 9 km from the enchanting Varenna, in the village of Dervio, a delightful tourist resort overlooking the shores of Lake Como, with grassy and pebbly beaches, which are equipped to practice sailing, kitesurfing, windsurfing and canoeing and also suitable for bathing. The apartment is located on the first floor of a building and just a few metres from the beach. It is furnished in a modern style, with attention to details. From the living room you have access to a balcony, which is equipped for outdoor lunches and dinners. Thanks to its location, it is possible to reach on foot the beach, the promenade along the lake, which is about 3 km long and during which you can admire the lake on comfortable benches, the restaurants, shops and the train station with connection to the towns of Lecco and Milan. At Dervio, in the hamlet of Castello, a small promontory overlooking the village, you can visit the suggestive Torre di Orezia dating back to the late Middle Ages, from the top of which you can admire a breath-taking panorama on Dervio and all the high lake. A few metres from the Tower you can visit the Church of S. Leonardo, entirely built with the local stone and inside which there are frescoes of medieval times. Less than 2 km from Dervio, you can visit the fascinating medieval village of Corenno Plinio, rich in history, silence and peace, and characterized by irregular lanes and staircases stacked in the rock, which degrade directly on the lake where there is a romantic small beach. Dervio also offers the possibility of private boat trips or boat trips through Navigazione Lago di Como, thanks to which you can visit the Cistercian Abbey of Colico-Piona, the waterfalls of the Ordo di Bellano, the Villa Monastero and the Vezio Castle in Varenna, Villa Melzi and Villa Serbelloni at Bellagio and Villa Carlotta in Tremezzo. Boat departures are possible from the Dervio jetty in the summer months only, while during all year it is possible to take advantage of the boat and hydrofoil service from jetty of Bellano (just 4.5 km) or from the jetty of Varenna, where there is also a ferry service to reach Bellagio, Menaggio and Cadenabbia. During the summer season, boat trips are also organized with dinners and dancing nights. Trekking enthusiasts will find in Dervio, in addition to walking and mountain biking trails of varying difficulty, the Path of the Viandante, an interesting hiking trail that offers a fascinating scenery and traces the ancient linking route between Lecco and the Valtellina. The apartment offers private parking outside the fence in front of the entrance and the shared garden.

  • A single bed is typically 70cm to 85 cm wide and 180cm to 190cm deep.
  • A double bed is typically 140cm to 180cm wide and 180cm to 190cm deep.
  • A “grand lit” is a European double bed, suitable for couples, and can be smaller than the usual UK or American doubles. It is typically 130cm wide but in some instances may be wider; it is approximately 180cm to 190cm deep.

A bunk bed is two single beds, one on top of another. Some properties also have pull-out beds, sofa beds and/or bed chairs; in a few properties the bed can be low in a wooden frame on the floor. The beds often have terry cloth sheet mattress protectors to protect the mattresses; please use them with the bed linen.

Some properties may have a loft as a bedroom: this is usually an open room at the top of the house with sloping walls and mattresses on a low bed or on the floor itself.
