At only 850 meters, easily reachable on foot, you will find one of the best restaurants in the area (owned by the house owner), where you can taste the delicious local dishes and wines. What more could you ask for? Other destinations in the area: Cortona of course, the imposing Etruscan city with its nice main street that invites you to stroll and wander; Arezzo with its worth seeing old town, the Piazza Grande and the frescoes of Piero della Francesca in the church of San Francesco (25 km), the medieval Montepulciano (30 km) or the charming renaissance town of Pienza with breathtaking views over the Orcia valley (40 km); the Lago Trasimeno with its sandy beaches and small islands (20 km), which are worth to be discovered by you. Or Siena with the most beautiful square in the world, the "Campo", easily reachable in an hour drive (80 km), as well as the Umbrian capital Perugia, also of Etruscan origin (55 km).
