This vacation home (two-family house ) is located at 600m altitude at a small borgo above Cortona (18 km). The two-family house has a large private terrace with valley view ? the separate pool area is about 70m below, also with large sun terrace and seating (shared with ITA222). From the terrace you enter directly into the eat-in kitchen, from the kitchen into the large rustic living room with sofa bed and open fireplace and a separate entrance. From here a wooden staircase leads to the second floor, where the three bedrooms with two bathrooms are located. The large bedroom also has a separate entrance from the mountain side. The former farmhouse has been restored in rustic style and tastefully furnished. Baby crib on request. The family of the owners lives in a neighboring house in the Borgo and will be happy to help and advise guests if needed.The entire outdoor area is fenced and surrounded by hilly woods. In about 2km there is a small ristorante (see also ITA262/ITA263). This vacation home is suitable for families who enjoy a quiet location, fresh air and lots of nature. Excursions can be started from here on foot , by bike or by car in two directions: on the western side is the worth seeing Etruscan town of Cortona with stores of all kinds, restaurants, museums, art galleries and sophisticated life; a little further away Montepulciano (40 km), Pienza (50 km), Arezzo (50 km) or Lake Trasimeno (35 km). To the east you will find the Umbrian towns of Città di Castello (35 km), Gubbio (50 km), Perugia and Assisi (about 60 km). And if the choice is too hard for you, you can simply stay in your little paradise on site and have a splendid rest. The owner will be happy to cook local dishes for her guests on request.
