The villa is set 45 minutes from Palermo (65 km),at about 10 minutes away from Cefalù (5 km) and its magnificent beaches and architectural beauties. Nestled on the side of a hill, in the Madonie Park (Parco delle Madonie) 250 meters above sea level, the estate is surrounded by old-growth Oak woods, citrus and olive groves, a variegated orchard and enjoys breathtaking views over the Rocca of Cefalù. Eolian Islands can be easily reached thanks to a daily hidrofoil race leaving from Cefalù harbour.
Apart from having one of the swimming pool with one of the most beautiful sight of the whole Sicily with view on Tyrrhenian sea and on Rocca of Cefalù is marked for the elegance of its internal and outdoor pertinences. The villa has several areas where very big groups can eat outside enjoying stunnnin view of sea and of Rocca of Cefalù.

The villa is in the country but has satelitte wifi working very well and cable tv with 40 programs in english for adults and children.
The spacious living room with stone made walls and cotto made pavements is the hart of the villa and it can be ideally divided in four areas. A kitchen space full furnished where the black of Carrara marble merges harmonically with pastel colours of antique Sicilian majolica. A dining room furnished with a black marble table with electrical barbecue where to have meals comfortably. The central area of the living room is marked by the huge fireplace and by the huge table made of chestnut. Finally, the living room has a tv corner with dvd where to relax in two spacious sofas.
From the living room you can pass through in the other wing of the villa that four bedrooms that share 2 bathroom both with shower..On the first flloor there is another bedroom (maximum 4 single beds) with 1 bathroom with hydro shower box. The Villa consists of 5 bedrooms that are all furnished with a distinctive elegant simplicity, ideal for a relaxing holiday. 3 out 5 f of the rooms are double beds rooms. The fourth bedrooms ahs 3 single beds. The bedroom on the first floor is a quadruple with 4 single beds. In 2 of the double bed room can be inserted an extra single bed. So the villa can give accomodation maximum to 14 people. All the bedrooms have air conditioning.
At a few meters from the villa in front of the swimming pool there is a gazebo where you can relax in the spacious sofas enjoying the wonderful sightseeing with view on Tyrrhenian sea and on Rocca of Cefalù.
The Outdoor kitchen is marked by huge marble table where to have meals. The external kitchen has another gas stove and eletrical oven, washing machin and dishwasher.The kitchen has also barbecue corner and an huge oven fuelled by wood. There is also a brand new gas barbecue.

Cefalù is set on the northern coast, 75 kilometres east of Palermo, from which it is about forty-five minutes by car, a bit longer by train. Cefalù is a picturesque medieval fishing village that enjoys a splendid position between the sea and a rocky promontory (Rocca of Cefalù). Cefalu is the second most visited area in Sicily, second only to Taormina. So it is a very touristic place full of very nice restaurants, pubs, shops of all kind and in the summer it is one of the most attractive area of whole Sicily for night life.
Cefalù is a built on the site of an ancient Sican an Greek settlement. The town saw its maximum development under the Norman king Roger II, The town nowadays is divided in two parts an old part that is mainly for pedestrians and has many nice little boutiques, shops and restaurants, and a new modern part.
The old town centre is dominated by the cathedral. Imposing and attractive, the cathedral is a synthesis of several cultures. It was built by Norman architects and Arabic craftsmen, conditioned by Byzantine models. The interior is dominated by the solemn rhythm of the colonnade and by the image of Christ Pantocrator : a breathtaking mosaic dating back to 1138 on a gold background dominating the apse, above the Madonna, archangels and Apostles.
Mandralisca Museum is also surely worth seeing. Mandralisca, next to the cathedral square, is famous for its library, containing about 6,000 antique volumes, for its numismatic collection and especially for the paint “Portrait of an Unknown Man” by Antonello da Messina, one of the most famous painters of the European fifteenth century. A Saracen wash-house, the Lavatoio is another sight worth seeing, as is the medieval Osterio Magno, the remaining part of a large 13th-century palace. In any case, the whole old town is worth visiting to admire the picturesque and charming alleys and medieval buildings.
Around Cefalù, places of interest include the Sanctuary of Gibilmanna - a hillside pilgrimage destination-, the ruins of Greek Himera, the Natural Park of Madonie mountains and Castelbuono - a mountain medieval town about 25 kilometres from Cefalù famous for the castle once owned by the Ventimiglia family, feudal lords of several towns in the area-.
Finally, Cefalù is famous as touristic site also for its magnificent white sandy beaches. The main sandy beach is in front of Cefalù and it’s called “lungomare”. There, it’s possible to find many different lidos that offer sun beds and umbrellas, as well as public beaches where you can stay for free. Lungomare is mainly a tourist beach and is very safe and strongly recommended for families with children..
