This large apartment with shared pool is located within a wonderful complex at 3 km from Castelfranco Veneto. The complex has been built according to the typical model of the farmhouses of the Veneto countryside, where the house is structured around an internal courtyard on which the apartments look. The property is surrounded by a 25,000 m² park, where you can walk, play, swim in the bio- pool (which does not require the use of chlorine or chemicals thanks to aquatic plants which generate microorganisms necessary for water purification), sunbathe on the sun loungers around the pool or enjoy the farmyard animals. This apartment is on the first floor and accessed through stairs. It is bright, large and comfortably furnished in modern style. It is the ideal solution for one family or two couples of friends. In the evening, on the long terrace overlooking the internal court, you can relax by enjoying the excellent wine produced in these areas. The cleaning service is daily, the change of linen is weekly. Even if nestled in greenery and tranquility, this apartment is an excellent starting point for visiting the artistic, historical and landscape richness of the area. Castelfranco Veneto is the hometown of the famous painter Giorgione and a splendid town rich in restaurants and shops that, like the nearby localities Citadella, Marostica, Asolo and Montagnana, still retain its medieval identity. The property is also close to all other major cities of Venetian art: Vicenza (40 km), a town where the famous architect Andrea Palladio has left his mark: enjoy the splendid Piazza dei Signori, the Palladian Basilica, the Loggia del Capitano, the Monte della Pietà and all the other splendid palaces. By car or train you can easily reach Venice (55 km), Treviso (30 km), Padua (35 km), as well as Verona (100 km) and Lake Garda with its beautiful walks along the lake and numerous amusement parks. But you can also make original daily excursions: from Stra (35 km) you can spend a day sailing along the Riviera del Brenta and visiting some of the most beautiful Venetian Villas; at Bassano del Grappa (25 km) you can enjoy rafting in the Brenta River or flying with the hang glider or paragliding from Mount Grappa. For a relaxing day, the thermal pools of Montegrotto and Abano are about 50 km from here. For sea and sun lovers, the renowned Adriatic beaches (Jesolo, Caorle, Bibione) are at about 65 km distance. The beautiful alpine lakes of Levico and Caldonazzo are at about 95 km. The area also offers many activities to sports enthusiasts: golf, horse riding, cycling, mountain biking, hiking in the mountains. In 45 km distance you are already at 2000 m height on Mount Grappa, but also close to the plateau of Asiago (with its cross-country tracks) or the park of the Dolomites Bellunesi (70 km). With regard to the eno-gastronomic offer, in less than 30 km is Valdobbiadene, famous for the production of prosecco wine, and culinary fairs and good restaurants will offer you the possibility to taste good local products. When do I receive directions to the apartment and key collection information?
Directions and details on how to collect the keys will be emailed to you after you have paid for the booking in full. You will receive full details about your booking including directions to the property and a booking voucher that you need to hand over to the property manager when you receive the keys. Bed sizes / bedrooms
The exact dimensions will vary from property to property but the agent has specified that bed sizes are as follows:
- A single bed is typically 70cm to 85 cm wide and 180cm to 190cm deep.
- A double bed is typically 140cm to 180cm wide and 180cm to 190cm deep.
- A “grand lit” is a European double bed, suitable for couples, and can be smaller than the usual UK or American doubles. It is typically 130cm wide but in some instances may be wider; it is approximately 180cm to 190cm deep.
A bunk bed is two single beds, one on top of another. Some properties also have pull-out beds, sofa beds and/or bed chairs; in a few properties the bed can be low in a wooden frame on the floor. The beds often have terry cloth sheet mattress protectors to protect the mattresses; please use them with the bed linen.
Some properties may have a loft as a bedroom: this is usually an open room at the top of the house with sloping walls and mattresses on a low bed or on the floor itself. You need to climb a ladder to reach this room. Lofts are very popular with children but may not be suitable for adults or elderly guests.
If a property has an annexe then it will typically be a building attached to the main property or a small self-contained building. Annexes often have no central heating.
