One bedroom independent cosy house up on the hills of Veneto 7 km from Asolo (Treviso) surrounded by woods and streams. In the distance you can admire the snowed mountains; walking along the paths of the area you may reach a small church dating back to XII century and the ruins of a medieval castle. In summertime you can relax in the garden while the children play in the greenhouse transformed into a doll house. All around the house luxuriant trees and flowers personally looked after by the owner who lives in the next house. The house is composed of just one room, but the space is well divided. The sofa bed may sleep one adult or 2 children. Access through a narrow road that from the main church of Castelcucco goes uphill through the wood. 500 m unpaved road. The town is famous for its 8 churches. Despite the isolated position, the house is an ideal starting point to visit the great surrounding area. Only 7 km from the splendid Villa di Maser (or Villa Barbaro) Unesco Heritage. Possagno with the temple and collection of plaster casts by Canova is 4 km. the area is rich in nice hamlets and cities: Asolo, Bassano del Grappa, Marostica, Feltre, Castelfranco Veneto, Treviso, Vicenza, Padova and Venezia. This is the ideal place for gourmets: we are in the area of the famous prosecco: Valdobbiadene is 15 km with several trekking or cycling paths among the vineyards, cellars, woods and ancient villages.

You will receive full details about your booking including directions to the property and a booking voucher that you need to hand over to the property manager when you receive the keys. The exact dimensions will vary from property to property but the agent has specified that bed sizes are as follows:

  • A single bed is typically 70cm to 85 cm wide and 180cm to 190cm deep.
  • A double bed is typically 140cm to 180cm wide and 180cm to 190cm deep.
  • A “grand lit” is a European double bed, suitable for couples, and can be smaller than the usual UK or American doubles. It is typically 130cm wide but in some instances may be wider; it is approximately 180cm to 190cm deep.

A bunk bed is two single beds, one on top of another. Some properties also have pull-out beds, sofa beds and/or bed chairs; in a few properties the bed can be low in a wooden frame on the floor. The beds often have terry cloth sheet mattress protectors to protect the mattresses; please use them with the bed linen.

Some properties may have a loft as a bedroom: this is usually an open room at the top of the house with sloping walls and mattresses on a low bed or on the floor itself. You need to climb a ladder to reach this room. Lofts are very popular with children but may not be suitable for adults or elderly guests.
