Its unfenced outdoor area is equipped for nice outdoor barbecues. The area is ideal not only to reach the famous beaches of Lido di Camaiore and Viareggio (5 km) and Forte dei Marmi ( 8 km), but also to visit Carrara (32 km) with its fine marble and Pietrasanta (7 km) with its marble statues. Nature and sports lovers can discover the Antro of Corchia (25 km), a cave in the Apuan Alps Park with 70 km of tunnels and waterholes that make it the most important karst complex in Italy, and enjoy a 20 km bike path that connects the small towns of Versilia. For art lovers, a visit to the unique art cities of Pisa (27 km) and Lucca (28 km) is a must! The town of Collodi, hometown of Pinocchio, is 49 km away and ideal destination for children. In summer there are boat connections from Viareggio to the charming villages of the Cinque Terre.
