Apartment 7 km from Buonconvento in one of the most beautiful hamlets of Italy in the province of Siena. It is located in an ancient Tuscan farmhouse in the splendid Val d'Orcia surrounded by the Crete Senesi. Immersed in the silence and beauty of a suggestive landscape in a farm (120 ha) with corn fields, the accommodation is spacious and functional. To be shared: pool equipped with parasols and sun chairs. In the heart of a nature reserve along a natural path ideal for walking, trekking and mountain bike tours and for meeting wild animals like pheasants, foxes, porcupines. For who desires discovering Tuscany and its fantastic sites, this is a perfect starting place to visit cities of art like Siena (28 km) with its beautiful cathedral and the characteristic Piazza del Campo, where on July 2 and August 16 the Palio, horse running, takes place; Firenze (103 km) with its splendid churches, the monuments and the Uffizi Gallery. Do not miss the visit of Montalcino (13 km) and Montepulciano (41 km), both famous for the production of excellent red wines that you can taste in the cellars of the area. We also recommend you the visit of San Gimignano (72 km) with its 15 towers and the splendid Piazza Duomo, the natural areas of Chianti and Val d'Orcia with Pienza. The exact dimensions will vary from property to property but the agent has specified that bed sizes are as follows:

  • A single bed is typically 70cm to 85 cm wide and 180cm to 190cm deep.
  • A double bed is typically 140cm to 180cm wide and 180cm to 190cm deep.
  • A “grand lit” is a European double bed, suitable for couples, and can be smaller than the usual UK or American doubles. It is typically 130cm wide but in some instances may be wider; it is approximately 180cm to 190cm deep.

A bunk bed is two single beds, one on top of another. Some properties also have pull-out beds, sofa beds and/or bed chairs; in a few properties the bed can be low in a wooden frame on the floor. The beds often have terry cloth sheet mattress protectors to protect the mattresses; please use them with the bed linen.

Some properties may have a loft as a bedroom: this is usually an open room at the top of the house with sloping walls and mattresses on a low bed or on the floor itself. You need to climb a ladder to reach this room. Lofts are very popular with children but may not be suitable for adults or elderly guests.
