Just outside Monte San Savino (1.5 km) is this vacation apartment on the 1st floor of a historic villa, surrounded by a park-like property with pool (shared with ITA901).
The apartment has a separate entrance on the ground floor, you reach the central living room via a wide and comfortable staircase. From the living room with fireplace you enter the small kitchen and two of the three bedrooms; a third one, with bathroom, is on the other side of the stairs. The whole building has kept its original characteristics and atmosphere; the furnishings are in antique rustic style. Crib on request. In front of the house there is a private outdoor seating area; several other garden seating areas are scattered around the property - so you can enjoy your espresso under a rose-covered pergola and a glass of wine in the shade of tall trees. You can also easily reach on foot the nice town of Monte San Savino, where you will find various bars, good restaurants and ice cream parlors ? for passionate city wanderers there are also Arezzo (20 km, also by train), Cortona 30 km, Siena 50 km and Florence 80 km. ? Monte San Savino has a rich offer of cultural events in summer, especially concerts in the rose garden; Wednesdays there is colorful life in the market. Table football available in the common area. The owner produces olive oil and wine of excellent quality using non-industrial methods and respecting traditional techniques and methods. The wine is made from grapes of local varieties such as Sangiovese and the first press oil is given by local varieties (Moraiolo and Morelli). Guests can taste the products and visit the wine cellar and participate in the harvest in the last days of September.
