Lovely holiday apartment on the 2nd floor in the old hamlet of Borgomaro, a medieval village in the valley of the Ligurian Riviera, 17 km from the sea and from the center of the harbor city of Imperia. From the living area of this studio apartment direct access to the terrace, equipped for outdoor dining, with beautiful views over the roofs of the hamlet. The double bed is located on an open gallery. The beautiful sandy beaches on the Ligurian Sea invite you to relax and sun bathing. Some equipped beach resorts, ideal for children, also offer sports activities such as beach volleyball and beach tennis. Ideal position to explore the old medieval towns of the area: 14 km Pieve di Teco with its characteristic porches, 29 km the old fishing village of Santo Stefano al Mare, 39 km Triora – the town of witches, 48 km the beautiful Sanremo, 49 km Castelvecchio di Rocca Barbena. Or try the longest European coastal bike track (27 km), which connects Sanremo to San Lorenzo al Mare. Worth a visit is also the lively city of Alassio with its small, characteristic alleys called "budelli" (37 km) and the Botanical Gardens of Hanbury (85 km) with the "Balzi Rossi" (red cliffs). For gourmets: the Ligurian cuisine is fine and tasty, an example is the famous Pesto alla Genovese. In the same house on the first floor is the apartment ILL560. The accomodation is located in a limited traffic area.

  • A single bed is typically 70cm to 85 cm wide and 180cm to 190cm deep.
  • A double bed is typically 140cm to 180cm wide and 180cm to 190cm deep.
  • A “grand lit” is a European double bed, suitable for couples, and can be smaller than the usual UK or American doubles. It is typically 130cm wide but in some instances may be wider; it is approximately 180cm to 190cm deep.

A bunk bed is two single beds, one on top of another. Some properties also have pull-out beds, sofa beds and/or bed chairs; in a few properties the bed can be low in a wooden frame on the floor. The beds often have terry cloth sheet mattress protectors to protect the mattresses; please use them with the bed linen.

Some properties may have a loft as a bedroom: this is usually an open room at the top of the house with sloping walls and mattresses on a low bed or on the floor itself. You need to climb a ladder to reach this room. Lofts are very popular with children but may not be suitable for adults or elderly guests.

If a property has an annexe then it will typically be a building attached to the main property or a small self-contained building. Annexes often have no central heating.

Please note that bedrooms in holiday rentals are usually not that large; you should refer to the floor plan to get a sense of size.
