This nice independent holiday house with equipped garden for outdoor dining lies in the beautiful hills of a typical village of Monferrato, 9 km from Valenza and 31 km from Casale Monferrato. The area is ideal for discovering the history and natural beauties of the rolling hills of Monferrato, where you can walk through the vineyards, stroll through the markets, taste wines and dishes with truffles, go trekking and horse riding, visit castles and towers. Near the holiday house there are many farms where you can taste and buy local products and wines. The location is also convenient for reaching the Langhe - Roero area with its important white truffles fairs and wine. In the surrounding area you can visit "Moncalvo", Italy's smallest town, which hosts the white truffle fair in autumn, Vignale M.to famous for the international dance festival and integrated arts. In the nearby Casale M.to, lovers of culture and art can visit the Synagogue, the Cathedral of Sant 'Evasio, the civic museum with paintings by Pietro Francesco Guala. Sports lovers can go horse riding, mountain biking, or take parachuting and flying lessons at the airport in San Germano (33 km), play golf at Fubine (33 km). About 2 km from here there is a sports centre with two outdoor swimming pools, a tennis court, a volleyball court, a play area and babysitting service. The house is located in a strategic position to visit the most famous Italian cities: Milan (84 km), Turin (95 km), Genoa (85 km) and all the most famous Piedmontese places known for their wines, medieval villages and spas (Acqui Terme 84 km, famous for its healthy sulphurous waters). Distances: the sea of ​​Arenzano 100 km, Serravalle Scrivia 42 km (here is one of the biggest outlets in Europe), Arona (Lake Maggiore and Lake Orta) 113 km. Do not miss the medieval Asti at approx. 56 km, where a fantastic sparkling wine is produced and where a characteristic palio takes place every third Sunday of September, and Alba (83 km) in the heart of the Langhe and renowned for its white truffles fair. On the first floor there is a bedroom with a single bed and a pull-out bed, the double bedroom has no door.

You will receive full details about your booking including directions to the property and a booking voucher that you need to hand over to the property manager when you receive the keys. In some instances you may need to collect the keys from the property manager’s office or some other location which is not the actual property you have booked to stay in. The exact dimensions will vary from property to property but the agent has specified that bed sizes are as follows:

  • A single bed is typically 70cm to 85 cm wide and 180cm to 190cm deep.
  • A double bed is typically 140cm to 180cm wide and 180cm to 190cm deep.
  • A “grand lit” is a European double bed, suitable for couples, and can be smaller than the usual UK or American doubles. It is typically 130cm wide but in some instances may be wider; it is approximately 180cm to 190cm deep.

A bunk bed is two single beds, one on top of another. Some properties also have pull-out beds, sofa beds and/or bed chairs; in a few properties the bed can be low in a wooden frame on the floor. The beds often have terry cloth sheet mattress protectors to protect the mattresses; please use them with the bed linen.

Some properties may have a loft as a bedroom: this is usually an open room at the top of the house with sloping walls and mattresses on a low bed or on the floor itself. You need to climb a ladder to reach this room. Lofts are very popular with children but may not be suitable for adults or elderly guests.

If a property has an annexe then it will typically be a building attached to the main property or a small self-contained building. Annexes often have no central heating.

Please note that bedrooms in holiday rentals are usually not that large; you should refer to the floor plan to get a sense of size.
