Holiday apartment in the center of the small village of Avaglio, in the area of Lauco. IFM028, IFM029 and IFM030 are in the same building. IFM028 and IFM029 have a balcony with views over the mountains. IFM030 is on the groundfloor and has a private outdoor area. Parking on the street near the main square. The ancient city of Lauco is located on the high plateau of the same name, extending from the Monte Arvenis to the Tagliamento valley. Arrivals are only between 16h and 19h. The ski lifts of the Zoncolan are 26 km away. If you want to spend an active holiday there are numerous hiking trails in the area, which are be explored on foot, by mountain bike, by bike or on skis. For lovers of the wild and unspoiled nature and for experienced sportsmen, the path through the gorge of the Vinadia offers unique emotions. The Val di Lauco can also be explored on snow shoes in winter. On site you can also book excursions and Nordic walking courses. In winter the ski fans are only 26 km away from the ski lifts of Monte Zoncolan: here you can go cross-country skiing, skiing on 27 km of slopes and freeriding. In summer and accessible by car, the 30 km long panoramic road delle Vette is an ideal excursion destination, reaching an altitude of 2000 m up to Monte Coglians. You can find numerous hiking trails in the surroundings, also leading up to high altitudes to alpine pastures and small lakes. The thermal baths of Arta Terme (22 km), whose sulphurous waters are famous since the Roman era, are ideal for those who desire to spent a day of relax. The Austrian border is only 50 km away. While in Italy you can visit Venzone - one of the most beautiful historic hamlets - Udine or Cividale del Friuli (with the historic city center - heritage of the UNESCO), visit the coast in Trieste or the historic cities of Palmanova and Aquileia.

You will receive full details about your booking including directions to the property and a booking voucher that you need to hand over to the property manager when you receive the keys. The exact dimensions will vary from property to property but the agent has specified that bed sizes are as follows:

  • A single bed is typically 70cm to 85 cm wide and 180cm to 190cm deep.
  • A double bed is typically 140cm to 180cm wide and 180cm to 190cm deep.
  • A “grand lit” is a European double bed, suitable for couples, and can be smaller than the usual UK or American doubles. It is typically 130cm wide but in some instances may be wider; it is approximately 180cm to 190cm deep.

A bunk bed is two single beds, one on top of another. Some properties also have pull-out beds, sofa beds and/or bed chairs; in a few properties the bed can be low in a wooden frame on the floor. The beds often have terry cloth sheet mattress protectors to protect the mattresses; please use them with the bed linen.

Some properties may have a loft as a bedroom: this is usually an open room at the top of the house with sloping walls and mattresses on a low bed or on the floor itself. You need to climb a ladder to reach this room. Lofts are very popular with children but may not be suitable for adults or elderly guests.

If a property has an annexe then it will typically be a building attached to the main property or a small self-contained building. Annexes often have no central heating.
